If you can image service, knowledge, and smiles in one buying experience, you will have Colonial Photo and Hobby. I went in feeling a little overwhelmed because I was new to Digital SLRs. I came out feeling like I made the right purchase, and I even got a photography lesson to boot. I suggest stopping by just to experience how things "used to be" when shopping. Don't expect to pay more for this service either. Their prices meet or beat the "box stores".

Best Camera Store in Town, they are very friendly and knowledgible. They have exceptional quality - I can not even believe the previous email (sounds like the reviewer might have some issues of their own) as Harmons is always very professional and courteous, they have great prices and offer wonderful photography classes. I would recommend it to anyone and agree that Colonial is a rip-off and a chaotic, their is so much stuff and the staff is also focused on other "hobbies" other than photography. Harmons has earned the reputation of Orlando's best Camera store.

I needed to ship boxes of used books out fast. I double parked in front of the store and a sales person came right out to help me carry the heavy boxes in. They inforemd me that the boxes neede to be repacked into heavier boxes and they did so for a small fee. I used my own UPS account number and hads no problem. I was in and out in under 5 minutes.

Okay selection of guns, not great. Real good staff. Bought a scope mount that was wrong based on their info. Exchanged it with no problem. They also did some work on a gun of mine and it came back better than it went in (exactly what I wanted). Besides parking being a pain, the range is very small. Some might say cozy.
Pros: Close to the house.
Cons: Parking is limited, very small range.

We used Rhett and Wendy for our February wedding, and could not have been happier with the results. Not only did our photos perfectly capture our day, but our families were extremely happy with the level of professionalism this photographer had throughout the day. They made sure to get everything we asked for, and more. Although they may seem a little more expensive than others in the area, we believe the prices are definitely worth the service they provide.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I was refused service from an employee based on his personal opinion in the area of business that I asked him to do, I had a STATE of FLORIDA issued document, that he refused to assist me with. He broke State law and Federal law so I complained. The owner did NOTHING about this and allowed the employee to yell at me in front of her. When I yelled back, I was kicked out of the store and 911 was called when I used a curse word in the process. They took ZERO responsibilitie in their actions, were rude the entire time, and I would not recommend them for anyone, plenty of other UPS stores in the area that treat me like a customer should be. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.

Cons: RUDE and treat customers horrible

Mr Gray will be happy to take your money for a mail box. Just don't expect any service. I got tired of calling him every week to ask if my mail had been forwarded. It never happened unless he was prodded with a phone call. That's real service.
When I was in town, all kinds of other mail was put in my box. Rarely was it mine. I'm sure a lot of my mail was put in other boxes. Important things like car registration renewal was lost.
Don't let this guy handle your mail.
Pros: It's right downtown
Cons: You can't trust this guy with your mail
