When we moved to Knoxville, we searched a dozen different furniture stores for the best price, best quality, and best service. Brown Squirrel was the only place in our area that served all three purposes, and the selection was Awesome!! The wife and I bought our living room furniture, got quick financing with no interest for 4 years, and the Staff was courteous and friendly!! Thanks for making our shopping experience so much FUN!!

I have had some really horrible experiences with furniture stores, and got cheated on some furniture that broke down in just a few months. Per my experiences I was very suspicious, but Braden's Furniture was a breath of fresh air in the furniture world. It is a family run business built around christian values. They have beautiful furniture and a massive selection. Their sales staff is trained well, and if they don't know the answer, they are willing to find it. They have prices to fit most budgets, and they even have accredited interior designers on staff. I couldn't be more happy about my experience with Braden's and would recommend them to anyone.

We accidentally found this place and we sure are glad. We won't be shopping the larger furniture stores again. They carry many name brand items of furniture and the prices are wonderful. The customer service is also very good. We measured wrong and one piece of delivered furniture was too big. No problem at all. They reordered another piece and picked up the return with no problems. Local delivery was free.

I am always looking around my house and thinking I need new furniture. I realized a few pieces are actually nice structurally but needed to be refreshed. I checked pricing around town on re-upholstering an old small vanity chair that I found in a tag sale long ago. Old Fashion was not the cheapest, but I visited the facility on Central and thought they did quality work. I found my own fabric and brought it in with the chair. The job took less than one week and it looked like a completely new chair. It had been completely stripped of old fabric and foam and new foam and fabric sculpted on (great detail work in the folds, buttons and pleats).
I was so impressed, I'm taking some old loveseats in next. Who needs new furniture? Check cost of re-upholstering first.

If you are a do-it-yours decorator or crafty person, you 'll want to add the Foam Rubber & Fabric Outlet to your resource list. I have taken many vintage finds in and had rubber padding cut to size. I found some old bar stools at a tag sale, took them in and had them add new padding and a new waterproof fabric. I only needed a staple gun and voilà! I have cute new outdoor stools. I have friends who drive from Chattanooga to buy here so I know the prices are good.

Doc said we needed a new mattress for my back and my wife's circulation. Sent us to The Bed Store on Kingston Pike. Wow! A lot has changed since we bought our last mattress and the Bed Store manager, Matthew helped us find the perfect mattress for our needs. In our case, it was Tempurpedic. Love it. Love the service. Will highly recommend them and it.
