Zagara's Marketplace

This store has lots of eye appeal and is definitely several steps up from the old store. My only two complaints are the lack of selection of food especially in the frozen food section. I circled the store twice thinking that the rest of the frozen foods must be located in the next isle or in another part of the store that I obviously missed...nope! the two cases across from each other and the open freezer in the middle are it. I think that if they take out the freezer in the middle of the isle and add a regular two-sided freezer in the middle they could have more of a selection (just a thought Zagara's). My second complaint is the store hours, now I am aware that this is just a neighborhood store and staying open 24 hours is out of the question but can somebody please tell me what do you do for food around here after 10pm when all of Cleveland Heights has officially rolls up the streets for the night? I really like this store! They have great deals and a lot of 2 for 1 specials. The store is very neat and they have a huge wine and bakery section that is to di for! They can be a little expensive at times but shop the sales and you'll get good deals. more

Why do they call it 'catering'? Ordering was almost impossible, my delivery was very late, the food was just O.K. and when I called to complain, they put me on hold for so long, I felt that I was being intentionally ignored. The store itself is worth the trip, but I will never use them again for any catering needs. Too bad!!! With the economy so bad... Zagara's needs to take a good look at what they consider good business practices and customer service. more

I visited this grocery store in the past and was not impressed. It is kind of small and some items are hard to find. However, after a few visits I have to admit I was hooked. Once you get used to the layout, things become much easier to find. Not to mention that any staffmember is willing to help and not just point you in the right direction. They offer very fresh options. Prices are a little higher than what I'm used to, but they are the only local market and the staff is so friendly and willing to help with anything you need that the slightly higher prices are just not a big deal. more

I used to shop at Zagaras before they opened at this newer location. Back then Zagaras was a dirty little grocery store with alot of small difficult to access spaces. Now Zagaras is a big grocery store, well lit and nicely decorated. It is a very pretty place to do your grocery shopping. The people working there are well mannered and the overall experience is good. The only drawback is that the food is usually priced a little more than your chain grocery stores, but if you don't mind paying just a little bit more for the atmosphere, this is the place to go. I go there to shop when I am in town and I would recommend it to others. more
