From the front door to all through the line. This is an old fashioned place with old fashioned food. They can decide not to be a part of the homogenous Applebee's culture by serving old fashioned food and not paying surcharges to credit card companies if they so desire.
The food is terrific, the people running the line EXTREMELY friendly, the atmosphere would seem to be (delightfully) unchanged since at least the mid-1970's, the line is long since the food is good and the patrons are loyal, and the no credit card policy delivered in the low tech way evident in every other aspect of their business - IN PERSON. It's the world's worst kept secret, from the complete LACK of credit card logos anywhere on their front doors or windows, to the mutiple signs saying ""no credit cards"" from the front door to the middle of the line.
