Walmart Supercenter

I had a very good experience at the vision dept of this particular Walmart. The customer service reps were attentive and thorough, and didn't mind taking time helping me find the right frame for me. My insurance was new and there were a few glitches, but they were persistent and accurately figured out the problem and solved it. I found them helpful and professional. The rest of the retail store itself was set up in a way that made it difficult to navigate and find some of the items that I needed. When I asked for help the customer service people didn't know where to find the items. It wasn't worth the running around the huge store, so I opted to find the items somewhere else. I would go back again for the basic items that I know how to find. more

I dropped my car off at the Portsmouth Walmart at 4:30pm for four tires to be put on (purchased at the store). I walked to the laundry mat a few streets over so I could do my laundry as I was waiting. Over and hour and a half went by...and still no call from Walmart that my car was done. At 6pm I phoned over and they indicated that they could not get my lug nutts off my car...are you kidding me? I walked back over to Walmart (mind you it is below zero outside with the wind chill in January) to figure out if they were joking or not..and they weren't! I asked how come I didn't receive a phone call when they were done/didn't do anything to my car? The guy indicated that they don't do phone calls unless we ask for one! The ONLY information that I gave to the guy WAS my phone number AND that I was across the street doing laundry! He was so rude, disrespectful, and incompetent of doing his job ... I will never go back to the Portsmouth Walmart again! Pros: None. Cons: Worst customer service ever, incompetent. more
