The Lock Geeks

Absolutely horrible. The owner, is as unprofessional as they come. Jag key breaks and the car is stranded on MacDill AFB. Called these guys and they agree to come on base the next day to fix the key and reprogram it. They knew it was on base and agreed to come help us. The first quote was $200 but the next day it was $250. The "dispatcher" then warns us that "Robert" would be the technician and that he has little patience. Basically warning us he is a jerk. And Robert is the owner of the company. It was agreed to meet at the Visitor's Center and my wife would get into his van and show her ID at the gate which is usually good enough. But apparently commercial vehicles have to go to the visitor center and Robert was directed to the Visitor Center. He lost his ever loving mind. Starting ranting and raving about how he didn't have time for this, he makes too much money, he makes $1000 a day, and using profanity every other word in front of the her. He refuses to take my wife back to the Visitor Center so she can at least get to the car she used to get there so she had to get out at the main gate and walk back to the visitor center. He is lucky this was not me he did this too. He is a compete jerk and unprofessional buffoon. DO NOT LET THIS JERK ANYWHERE NEAR YOU. more

I called Plus Locksmith of Tampa to make a key for my Jeep. They told me it would be about $90 but when they came they gave me a sob story bla bla bal and wanted to charge me $245. Sent them packing. I went in and called Lock Geeks and they said they would do it for $130. They came out, made 2 key in 10 minutes and were gone. The guy new what he was talking about, spoke good English, was clean and professional. His vehicle was a late model minivan, clean inside and out with a professional and sophisticated looking locksmith shop inside. I was impressed. They asked if I could pay cash before they arrived and I had no problem with that. I recommend them highly. Franko Triscitti more

althought it was a fast service (at home) i was never given an invoice as they claim they will mail it, but i had to pay it cash when the service was completed finally one month later i succed to get the invoice the invoice do not describe the items sold and six weks after the purchase they dont have to honor any claim as i have no proff thay sold it to me, my only prouve is that i paid them to make things worst, the address they provide is not real it is a mail box, and the DBA they claim to have, is cancelled they hide behind a cell phone i feel i was scamed more

Bob came to the house, problem solved, much less then Car dealership, prompt, courteous and professional. Highly reccomend. more

Just writing this review to thank the lock geeks. They made a key for me and saved me some money. It sure beat having my car towed to the dealer. Thanks Again, hope I dont need your service again, but I saved your number just in case. more
