I really wish the male waiters here get some training in customer service. They have people with very bad attitude. I really couldn't tolerate their high headedness for more than ...

We visited this restaurant several times it was one of the best Indian foods, as we have tried all most all Indain Resturants in the traingle ,but this has what is states. The food is very authentic, delicious & made to fit your need. Our kids loved the staff who were very friendly & helpful. Weekend brunche & breafast was also good for our family. We strongly recommend.. Pros: inexpensive, friendly, Romantic more

I won't go 12/30/2003

If you are like me, you have been waiting for this place to get better but have finally given up. On good days, the food is 'barely edible'; otherwise, its truly puky. The spices in most of the items, especially in the sauces, are awful. It is not at all uncommon for some items to taste like they are recycled from the previous day. If you don't know Indian food, this is BAD Indian food. If you do know Indian food and still consider this food good, you should seriously consider visiting other Indian restaurants in the area (e.g. Suchi in Cary). For past and future reviewers: Just because this place has come in handy during your last food crisis or is convenient from your place of work or home does not mean that you should mislead others about the quality of the food at this restaurant. Cons: It Exists more

Best place around 5/31/2003

The people who run Tandoor are very good with kids. The food is always wonderful. It is my 4 year old daughters favorite place ever. It's a bit of a drive from Cary but worth it!! Pros: GREAT with kids!!!, Clean, Great food Cons: We need one in Cary more

Still like this place! 9/20/2002

Less publicized, but a pleasant place to enjoy Indian food. Buffet is OK, with good selection of items. Food quality seems to have gone down a bit - using more oil than before. Next time, I might try something off the menu. Pros: Good service, Nice atmosphere, Plenty of parking Cons: Food on oily side more

But indeed, you get service with a smile, and fast food. Myself and my siblings and mother have frequently gone here, and one of the waiters knows us by name, and always makes time to say hi to my little sister. And unlike most places, my water glass gets refilled as often as I need it. Terrific service, and friendly service! I don't see what others complain about. The buffet is good, and some days better than others (the dishes rotate). There's always some good Nan, and Tandoori chicken, at the least. Wonderful Samosas, and a Chicken Vindaloo that beats most any. Buffet also has, and you can order, their fabulous Gulab Jamuns to wrap up your meal at the table. I wish we had a place like this in Kansas. Pros: service, variety, speed Cons: buffet hours more
