My intro to Thai food! 7/15/2005

I'm not normally an adventurous food type. In fact, I never really was a fan of any asian food, until I came to Sugar and Spice. I've been there twice in large group settings and the food is great. The bubble tea is very tasty. For a beginner, I had the Numtuk Beef for an appetizer (spicy, but not too spicy) and the Crying Tiger for the entree. The next time I came back I had the Crispy Basil Chicken, which is so amazingly good that I can't wait to go back again. The service was fine, given that we went in large groups. It is located in Porter Square and sometimes parking can be an issue. more

Great food, need to work on service 7/14/2005

I love the food and bubble tea at this Thai restaurant in Porter Square. However, the wait staff/ kitchen still haven't got their timing right despite they've opened for more than a year now. Sometimes they bring you the entrée before the appetizer. Or they bring you and your party's entrées with long gaps in between. But it's a convenient location and it's one of the best Thai restaurants in Cambridge. Oh, unlike many traditional Thai restaurant, it has a funky modern decor. more
