I booked a massage and facial and was told they were 60 min each. For the price, they definitely should be. The massage was first-rate, but the facial was really disappointing! I arrived on time, but had to wait 20 min and then the massage and facial together were only 90 min. Did I get shortchanged because they took me late? I don't know. The facial was very short and didn't involve any extractions or explanation of what was being done or what its purpose was. Overall, the whole experience was greatly overpriced! I would come back for a massage again if on special, but don't waste money on the facial......... more

I went to Strada because of the reviews I read on Google. Now I know why they are so hightly rated! Sheryl gave me the best massage I've ever had(deep tissue) and I've had plenty in my life. The haircut was great as well as the ambience. I will definitely be going back! more

I was a little afraid to go to a new place after having gone to the same stylist for 15 years. I just moved to Willow Glen and decided to stop at this cute little Day Spa. Little did I know how big it was inside and how warm and inviting this gem turned out to be. I had Jennifer the owner do my color and cut. She game me highlights and low lights that were perfect for my skin. While I was there I decided to try some of their other services. I got my nails and toes done and made another appointment with Audra for Endermolgy treatments. I had been doing this in Dallas and never expected to find it here. I can't tell you how wonderful this place is! Being new to the neighborhood, they even gave me recommendations of other places to go in Willow Glen. I am off to La Villa now. I had an appointment with the lead hairdresser. I was quickly rushed through my color being put in my hair, with minimal product. Jen didn't listen to what I wanted at all. She did her own thing and it came out horrible. I have never seen such bad highlights since I went to beginning stylists fresh out of school. They were poorly space (the whole nine of them) and some where near my roots, others inches away) Their fix to complaint, to of course get more services- $$$! I have never been so dissatisfied in a place. I went elsewhere and got exactly what I wanted and I was the blond I wanted to be. They by the way charged $90 for actual highlights that amounted to more than just a few. By the way the eyebrow stylists also isn't good. I ignore other yelp reviews hoping it was just someone else, but I should of listened. Bring your money elsewhere or you will get a botch job and the receptionist will tell you how good it is and the salon will do nothing to fix it. more

Eileen is my favorite. I've been going to her for over 5 years now and I love the way she waxes. She is always very interested in what I'm saying and legitimately cares about what goes on in my life. I have experienced TRUE RELAXATION. After an extremely taxing week, I decided to visit the salon and purchased a package which included a facial and massage with services provided by Kerry Hamilton. The facial and massage were fabulous. Kerry’s touch is gentle and soothing, yet firm and effective. Her gracious and gentle nature could make any customer feel at ease. I highly recommend a visit to both the salon and Kerry for anyone interested in feeling refreshed and revitalized. more

I went to Eileen at Strada Spa for a Microdermabrasion Facial and it was awesome! I was looking for a more aggressive facial for my aging skin and was very happy with the results and the service!!! Rodney Haines is amazing. He is extremely talented, has extensive training and experience, much of it in high end New York salons. is a perfectionist as well sweet and witty. My hair has been a nightmare my entire life: lifeless, thin, and extremely fragile. Many stylists have tried to work with my difficult hair, but to achieve what I want, has always resulted in damaged hair. Well, Rodney has achieved full, bouncy, curly hair with a beautiful color and highlights, and still kept my hair healthy! He listens to your wishes, and works with you, but he will never allow damage to your hair. He is open, honest and truly cares. He styles men, women, young and old, everyone getting exactly what they came in for. He has many talents, you might even get some great tips for creating amazing meals too. All this and his prices are quite reasonable. Pros: the ambience is relaxing, the coffee is excellent and you will be treated well Cons: None more

I have known about Reiki for many years. I am a caregiver who works in hospice with the dying. I met Carolann because I was told about her compassion and knowledge and practice of Reiki. I know other caregivers who practice Reiki and I have never heard anything negative about the benefit of this healing modality. When I went to see Carolann it was to discuss my husband's debilitating conditjion of Parkinson's Disease. She never made any medical claims and certainly did not tell me not to continue seeking medical experts. But what she did do was a Reiki session for me and I was convinced that Reiki is beneficial to anyone. She merely placed her hands on me and I was relaxed, peaceful and felt warmth, vibrations and a state of calmness that I haven't felt in so long. She made no claims and just made me feel very nutured and taken of. I have never experienced anything like this before. She informed mr that she learned Reiki from an RN/LVN from Stanford Hospital and became a Reiki Master.. She also happily told me that they are practicing Reiki on patients at Kaiser Santa Clara. I left feeling so much more hopeful about my husband whether he sees her or not.. I would highly recommend Carolann for anyone suffering from pain or a physical ailment. She indicated to me that Reiki assists the body to heal itself. She has an abiltiy to make you feel very cared for. I was referred to Carolann at Strada Salon by a friend. I had a great treatment. Everything was conducive to a relaxing facial and massage. She was informative, professional and explained very well the benefits of facials and massage. It is very rare that I go to the zone where I completely relax. She asked me about any injuries and before doing extraction explained the sanitation procedures she uses for all clients. I was very impressed. I have never had anyone make me feel so comfortable about all aspects of my treatment. I highly recommend her to anyone. I will definitely become a return client. I just moved to San Jose from the East bay and was searching for a place I can trust with my hair. I admit, I don't put much effort into my hair, but I wanted a change and needed to find a great hair stylist to provide that for me. I swear but reviews and when I read reviews about how great Suzie was, I booked my appt with her. Unfortunetely, she wasn't available but I decided I would go with whoever was available. Rodney, another hair stylist cut my hair and I LOVE IT!!! I gave him an idea of what I wanted and he honored my request while also adding in his own creative (and great) touches to my cut. I'm absolutely in love with my hair and really, have never had a cut this amazing. I'm getting compliments from everyone! I have very fine, baby thin hair and Rodney really made my hair look fuller. I've never had bangs before because I didn't think they would look good on me but somehow, he managed to cut them to look great. I will def. be going back to this salon not only for future hair cuts and color but also their other services which are reasonably priced as well. The customer service was great, parking was easy to find (they have a lot) and overall, I had a great experience. Thanks Strada & Rodney! After experimenting for many years with different hair stylists and salons and being disappointed most of the times, I finally found Suzi Mate. She is absolutly the best and very profesional. Her haircuts are very precise and even.... which means my hair always grows out evenly and always looks great ...without spending much time styling each morning. So unless I decide to go shorter I can go for up to 2-3 months between my haircuts! Thank you Suzi for making me look beautiful everyday, and get all those nice compliments from my friends! more

When visiting Strada, you MUST ask for Kerry! Her facials are heaven sent and she gives the BEST massages! I always leave her feeling like a new woman!
