Very helpful and friendly but received no receipt and paid with cash. Did not realize this until I got home. I hope that the gift card works.

The "whatever" attitude might be tolerable in a bar picking up men or on a guilty-pleasure reality TV show yet it has no place when I'm a paying customer. In service situations I don't demand or earn respect I deserve it. more

my cut and color with Misty 1/28/2012

Misty is a fantastic stylist, but I just can't do weekday appointments. I suppose this means that when Tessa (also a great stylist) returns, I will have to find a new stylist. So now, I wonder: who will that be? This choice will have to be made in consultation with either Misty or Tessa as I use Henna to dye my hair. more

Disappointed with Price Increases 1/23/2012

Have been going to Downtown for 5 years and last week I did not find out about their HUGE price increases until I arrived. It is not like their service is going to change. In fact, half of my service is always completed by an assistant. Had to return last time after one week to get more hair cut off and this time I decided not to travel the 45 miles (one way) and went to a local salon. Probably will not return to Square One. more
