They have a full bar complete with pool tables and darts. Beaver Vu Bowl also have a nice little game area.

The Dayton Dragons are Dayton Ohio’s Minor League baseball team. The team itself is not very good, but the ballpark is wonderful. Tickets are very inexpensive especially compared to reds tickets. The games themselves are fun to watch, and the set up of the ballpark allows for plenty of "seat wondering". They have a couple of grass seating areas for almost nothing. Even the grass seats are good.

Smiley's Golf Center is a good place to go and hit a bucket of golf balls. If you want to work on your short game with your drive, Smiley's also has miniature golf. If you get bored with golf, Smiley's is also a great place to play horseshoes with your buddies. If you want to try your hand at hardball or softball hitting, Smiley's has both hardball and softball batting cages. Smiley's staff is friendly and helpful.

Woodman Lanes is a fun place to go with a group of friend or your family. The prices are pretty reasonable (cheaper than some of the others in the area) and it's usually pretty clean. There's plenty of parking, and the staff is generally friendly. Sometimes it's hard to find open lanes when there's leagues going on, but that's probably true anywhere.

I am an airplane lover, and I love this museum! I could literally spend days inside this museum and probably not see and read everything on display. They have an amazing collection of aircraft and memorabilia from the beginning of flight to the modern era. Even people who aren’t aviation buffs could probably get at least a couple hours of enjoyment from this museum. Admission is free.

This treasure is nestled between the first and second hangars of the U.S. Air Force Museum. The USAF Museum tends to focus on the aircraft, so it’s nice that this museum focuses on the people. There are biographies and displays dedicated to the Hall of Fame’s enshrinees, along with hand-on activities geared toward children. These displays, such as a lunar landing video game, a small rocket launch, and a model helicopter are a great break for kids who are bored from not being able to touch anything in the USAF Museum. There is plenty to entertain adults, also. The Hall of Fame’s annual enshrinement dinner is in July and is also well worth attending.

This museum isn’t all that large, but it is built on the same location where this Native American community lived. The small village of huts is built on the footings of the original buildings. In the center of the village are some large poles that were used as a sundial calendar—hence the name of the group and the museum. The small indoor museum has a theater where you can watch a short video about the village, some museum displays that tell more about the village, and a small gift shop. Unfortunately, this village is right next to a water treatment facility, so I wouldn’t recommend visiting on a particularly hot day due to the stench. This is a neat museum to visit once for a couple hours.

This park is a great place to go for a Saturday outing. There is plenty of grass for a picnic, and children enjoy running up the hill to the carillon. Every once in awhile there is a concert on the carillon, which is a nice treat. There is also a miniature old village where you can see things such as a replica of the Wright Brother’s airplane, a printing press, a one-room schoolhouse, and a train engine. There are also photos on display of Dayton from the past and present.
