This is the best craft store in the Dayton area!! Don't let the size of the shop fool you, it's huge on the inside! Be prepared to spend a decent amount of time there, because the owners fill every nook and cranny with items for sale! The first time I went there, I was overwhelmed by the selection, but then you see that it's laid out very succintly and can be looked through quite easily.
They specialize in yarn, stained glass, painting supplies... well pretty much everything!!

What a major change!! If you haven't been to Capri Lanes lately, then you are missing out!! What was once a run down stinky 70s era bowling alley is now a state of the art bowling +++++ & entertainment facility.
It's a great place to bring the kids and to hang out with your friends. The food is great and the staff is amazing!! If you want to do something different for a change, check out the New and GREATLY IMPROVED CAPRI LANES!!

I grew up around the corner from this market and have shopped there for 30 years. It is the best grocery in Ohio. The gourmet, organic and vegetarian selections are incredible. Wines are outstanding and so is produce. Prices lean towards the high end, but nothing like the high prices at Wild Oats in Columbus. it is well worht spending a few extra dollars just to get personailzed service every time you shop there!
It is definitely the store that accommodates.

This store was recently sold and is now called the Stop and Crop shop. They still sell scrapbooking supplies. The new owner is very nice and friendly. This is a very good place to go for all your scrapbook needs. They have a huge variety of scrapbooks and scrapbooking materials. Once I found this place I have not gone anywere else. The staff is very helpful and always have good ideas and advice. Their prices are great. I now live a bit away from Stuck on Scrapbooks, but it is always worth the drive to go here because I always not only find what I am looking for and needing, but always something extra also!

The University of Dayton offers a plethora of majors, a friendly, caring, environment, and professional, capable professors. The campus is not too big or too small and the Catholic emphasis is a plus. There are many places to live- dorms, apartments, and even a ghetto! The only obstacle is the price for an education here- quite steep!

Sinclair Community College is in the heart of downtown Dayton. It is very easy to get to by car, bus, taxi, etc. This makes it available to all Dayton residents and others.
You will find the college professors well versed and a plethora of courses for you to take. If you're a homemaker, they have an outstanding culinary course and restaurant for you to work as well. They have auto classes, and about every other class you can think. It's a wonderful college to be able to expand your horizons and your mind.

This is a great school to go to. They are always up on the technology and housing for students are great. The staff is always here to help you when it is needed and they have offices and buildings for everything that is possibly needed. Yes, it is expensive to go here but they also give out a lot of financial aid so anything is possible.

I have been to every place that sells scrapbook supplies in Dayton. Simply Scrapbooks is by far the best.
The product selection is superior, prices competitive, sales staff knows the product inside and out and the classes are outstanding. They have a frequent buyer program, crops and a club. Their paper selection easily rivals Archivers. They have around 30 layouts available to look at that are the quality you see in magazines.
If you haven't been yet you are in for a treat.

I was looking for a place to take some of my used books and CD's. I found this place. I called and they said that they paid cash on the spot for used books, CD's, DVD's, etc. I thought this was just what I was looking for. I went through all my stuff and came up with 5 grocery bags full of books, CD's, and DVD's. I took them in and they went through them. While I was waiting I walked around the store to see what they had. The prices for buying items was fantastic. They really have some great deals. When they called my name to let me know that I could go and get my money I was SHOCKED at how little they paid!!!! All my stuff was in fantastic shape, not torn, or overly worn and all the CD's and DVD's were still fairly "new releases". I was not expecting to make a killing, but I would have done twice as good if I had just set up a table in my front yard and sold them garage sale style. Since I had already taken all my stuff there I just took the money rather then taking all my stuff back. This place is great for buying, but pass on selling!!!
