I was having some ringing in my ears. I made an appointment to see one of the doctors in the practice. I specifically asked how much a typical visit costs. They told me the standard visit is $103. I was in the patient room for about 15 min. The doctor looked in my ear with a otoscope which is a small hand held light with a lens for seeing into your ear. They then did a short hearing test that took about 10 min. The doctor told me its very common to hear slight ringing in your ears as you get older and there is nothing that can be done about it. When I left I was required to pay for the visit in full which cost $365.00. I asked the sect who had just told me 30 min. earlier why it was so much. She said she was sorry but they have no way of knowing how much a typical visit costs and she just made up the $103. I wouldn?t trust anyone in a practice that operates in such a fashion. Stay away!
