Dave - Taylor Mill, Ky\r We had water coming in our floor drains in the basement. When we discovered it, there was 1"" of water in areas of our basement and still coming in. Drain in sloped driveway was also clogged. It was after hours for most plumbing Contractors and they wanted to consider it an emergency at 5 PM on a weekday. I called one plumber and it was 150 to show up and another 350 to rod my drain. I had called Roto-Rooter first and they gave me a timeline of 11 PM to 2 AM. I wasn't real happy with that, so I took that appointment and tried other Services. The one mentioned above, I just said no thanks I'll wait on Roto-Rooter. Well we got a call at around 7 PM that they were on their way. Mike Z # 3492 was very cordial and checked a few things and new just what to do. We had a 25 Gal shop Vac going from 5 pm until 11 when he left, to keep water from spreading in our basement. We had a lot of wet items but Roto-Rooter came through and I was quoted a price before he started and the price did not change even though he was there longer than he expected.\r Save yourself some time, aggravation, and money and call Roto-Rooter. I got my sewer rodded out and I made an appointment for a camera to check out my underground pipes for less than the other plumber wanted just to clean my drain. Chris Webster #1727 came out this afternoon to work on the plumbing in our first floor bathroom. Chris cleared the pipes, was knowledgeable, helpful, efficient, and very friendly. This service call was as enjoyable as it possibly could've been. I would recommend Chris to other's dealing with plumbing problems. I would also call Chris again if I have additional plumbing problems in the future. more

I have used Roto-Rooter for over a decade for several properties where I have lived. I have always found them to be responsive, helpful, and able to solve my problem. This round was a very complicated series of progressive plumbing problems which were solved by a team of technicians over a period of several days that involved sewer cleaning, drain cleaning, sump pump and macerator work, along with new piping both for water, sewage and natural gas. I continue to have faith in Roto-Rooter and will continue to use them for all of my needs. I highly recommend them! more

Ft. Mitchell, KY - 2/23/15. Roto-Rooter sent 2 master plumbers out to work on a leak that was coming into the house from under our washer/dryer. Our situation was difficult since we live on a tiered lot and have a crawl space under the house instead of a basement so the plumbers needed to have special certification. The plumbers that came to our home were very knowledgeable, very customer friendly and were able to repair the leak promptly. They performed a thorough check in and under the house to be certain that everything was performing properly prior to leaving. more

We called Roto Rooter regarding a backed up basement floor drain and requested Matt (#2719) at the recommendation of a relative. They were able to schedule an appointment later the same day. Matt arrived on time, assessed the situation, and explained what was causing the problem. He offered several treatment options and the costs and benefits. Late night call for toilet repair at apartment building in Erlanger, Kentucky. Service men arrived on time and quickly fixed the problem. Rate was fairly reasonable given it was after hours and came within 2 1/2 hours of call. Plumbers were very nice and competent. more

we called roto-rooter when our toilet started leaking everywhere. when they arrived they introduced themselves and showed their badges. they went right to the problem and told us up front the price to fix the toilet. we had another company come before roto-rooter and they were only worried about paperwork and your payment. they didn't even look at our toilet. when roto-rooter finished they ask if there was anything else. I liked the customer service they showed. you cant find that much anymore. roto-rooter did not linger around either just to cost you more money like some companies. we will not call anyone but roto-rooter for our plumbing issues.\r \r Bill and Theresa Moore more

We had Roto-Rooter come out last night when we noticed water coming up in the drains in our basement. They promptly got to our home in Covington, KY within an hour of our call. They technicians were friendly and explained what they were going to do as well as the expected cost. They also allowed us to use a coupon for the service. They completed the process of unclogging our sewer pipe and explained the problem. They are coming back tomorrow to run a camera through the sewer pipe to check on further damage to the pipe. I would definitely use Roto-Rooter again! more

I'm not the type to ever write reviews, good or bad, but in this case I felt compelled to do so. I can't say enough how much help James from roto-rooter was at our house the other day. He not only solved the problem (which literally had us feeling like prisoners in our own home) but he was patient and answered every question I had. Not only that, he offered preventive tips and what we should do in the future as we are looking to purchase a new home. We had a backed-up toilet Saturday evening, and called Roto-Rooter because of their 24 hour service. We were given a 4 hour window, which turned into a 6 hour wait until service came. However, I was impressed that the dispatcher called to let us know the new schedule. Our toilet was augered (?) and worked fine. We used their 7 day guarantee when the toilet backed up 2 days later. \r \r The technicians (Dwayne, Chris and Dave) were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. This is the second time we've used Roto-Rooter and have been very pleased both times. more

I had a recent excavation done on my property by Roto-Rooter to replace a length of deteriorated pipe that restricted sewerage flow out of the house. At the time of the excavation I was notified of further issues with the line out where it taps into the City of Milford line, which I declined to have repaired. Yesterday the plumbing inside the house began backing up again, and I called Roto-Rooter to request that technician Chris Poulin be sent out to see what could be done. Chris had been the first responder to the initial problem and I had been impressed with his professionalism and ability to convey the nature of the problem to me. Today Chris sent a mechanical blade the length of the line and was able to cut out an opening through the problematic area up to the city tap, and advised me on how to approach the City with a request for them address the situation. I appreciate how Chris and Roto Rooter does their best to handle a problem, keeping in mind the customer's expense. I am able to understand what is my responsibility and what is the City's responsibility and am better prepared to go forward as necessary. more

I was very happy with roto rooter when we needed a new water heater. They picked it up and installed it correcting some things that were done with the last one we had installed. Brought everything up to code and cleaned up and took away the old water heater. They came when I needed them and are available when you need them. We live in the Cincinnati area . more
