Peale's

Peale's is a mom-and-pop shop that is stuffed full of fabrics and dancewear ... leotards, tights, tap shoes, ballet shoes, gymnastics shoes, etc. They also have a wide array of costumes. When I say "stuffed full" I mean "stuffed full." Don't try to take a stroller into the store ... it is impossible! The fabrics are the types of fabrics used for dance costumes ... so if you need to alter a costume, you go to Peale's to get the type of fabric you need. I love the attention you receive at Peale's ... they treat the customers so well. The prices on the shoes are a bit steep, but the customer service is top-notch. I would recommend Peale's for any and all of your dance needs. If they don't have something, they can help you find it. more

You will fall in love with this small, family owned shop. They have dancing supplies, including shoes & leotards, costumes. They are willing to help you find what you need and they never act like they are going out of their way. Storefront on-the-street parking. Hours are mostly weekday & weekend. They are closed most evenings. Actually,they are a breath of fresh air with their old world style. Definitely recommeded for all your dance needs. more
