AWESOME 6/12/2009

This dance school is a great school! people are so nice there and the teachers are very perfessional and extreamly nice. I have danced there since I was 3 and they provide fun classes for people with different ages and experience. If you are a competitive dancer mission dance has compotion teams there that have been very successful in the last 30 years.I love it and I promise you will too. There are classes for ages from 3-adults of all ages. I've gone here for a very long time and whent from a little kid who could barely do anything to a competative dancer there and now I'm a teacher assitant.I would never even think about going to any other studio. This is defently a studio to try! Go MDPA! more

Unprofessional family-run business...skip it if you can 12/9/2006

Mission Dance is purported as a studio that is the best family-oriented studio in the area. That couldn't be further from the truth. My daughter danced for over five years...including three years in competition with several groups. The owner, Donna Dellaria, is an absolute nightmare to work with. She is unprofessional, wishy-washy and very difficult to communicate with. We left the studio (as have countless others) because of her. The costumes are relatively expensive, and despite requests by parents, they do not give a detailed, itemized list of the actual costume expenses. To make matters worse, the parking situation is a nightmare. We often parked across the street and ran through thick traffic to be able to get to class on time. This is definitely a studio to skip. more

Mission Dance. 11/20/2005

This dance school offers a lot of different classes. They emphasize a lot on performing and competitions. So while the dancers are really good at performing their actual classes aren't that great. I know a girl who did ballet there and her technique was all wrong and it was horrible to watch her dance. The prices are expensive and a lot of costumes are required for all the performances that occur. more

enthusiasm 6/26/2005

Since my niece is a recreational dancer, she has tried out several different venues to pick up her skills. She attended Mission Dance studio for a few years and had good things to say about it. They offer a good list of classes: ballet, cheerleading, jumps, lyrical, tap, jazz, hip hop, etc. I got to sit in and watch a lot of her classes and how the instructors taught. The teachers were definitely enthusiastic with the children, but more strict with the older teenagers. Dance is about discipline, also, not just having fun. more
