Since my niece is a recreational dancer, she has tried out several different venues to pick up her skills. She attended Mission Dance studio for a few years and had good things to say about it. They offer a good list of classes: ballet, cheerleading, jumps, lyrical, tap, jazz, hip hop, etc. I got to sit in and watch a lot of her classes and how the instructors taught. The teachers were definitely enthusiastic with the children, but more strict with the older teenagers. Dance is about discipline, also, not just having fun.
