We love this school. My son started there when he turned 3 and we are amazed on how much he is learning. His knowledge is expanding rapidly. He is educated on many many things that you would not see 3 year old talk about...
He is already reading, doing additions.
They focus a lot on the motor skills which is very important.

This college is a public college, while it might not be a great college compared to Stanford, it is pretty good. If you live in Fremont, you can go to Ohlone for free (with the exception of a few fees, such as registration). The classes are suitable, many teenagers take classes at Ohlone to make up for credits needed in high school.

I visited Ardenwood Historical Farm a while back when our youth group made a field trip there. This farm is home of the Patterson Ranch, a luxurious Victorian mansion and botanical garden. The farm is still operational, and grows organic crops throughout the year, which are sold near the main gate area. It's a welcome change of pace for city folk, as you get to experience (and even take part in) 19th century farming and agricultural practices. Admission is cheap, around $5 when I went there (probably about the same today).

Mission San Jose High School is a good school, especially compared to some of the other schools in Fremont. The academics here are fabulous. A lot of the students that go here are smart and eager to learn. The campus is nice. They have great clubs and activities, in my opinion anyways.

It's so hard to find doctors who genuinely care about their patients and can run an efficient office. I recently visited Dr. Scott Kramer at Women's Health Specialists in Fremont. First of all the receptionist was very friendly and got me in to see him after work on the same day I called. Second, I did that dreaded paperwork by downloading and completing the forms beforehand. Third, I was seen on time--really within 10 minutes of my appointment time after the nice nurse got me ready.
Best of all was that Dr. Kramer took more time than any other gynecologist has done previously to review my history, and teach me about things I didn't know I had a choice about. They even sent my PAP results to me by e-mail within a week of my visit.
I've seen women doctors at other practices and they're cold and too busy for me. Go see Dr. Kramer if you want a doctor who is very thorough, and most importantly friendly.

This school used to be really ugly and old but now they are recreating it. New sidewalks and classrooms have been added. The colour of the school is changing as well and I think it is turning uglier. In terms of the appearance, this school is really ugly. The schooling is almost as bad, many teachers don't even bother teaching here and just let their class go crazy. The main reason parents let their kids go here is to get them into Mission High

My kids get taken care of here after school and they are really nice. The people will drive them to their daycare center and provide extra homework help. The people are really kind and seem to truly care about your kids. The pricing isn't that expensive and it gives me a nice feeling to know that my kids are ok with them.

This library is one of the smallest district libraries that I have ever seen. It is also only open one measly day a week, every Wednesday. Sadly, the short hours are due to gradual cuts in funding that have nearly rendered the library closed. It is a shame because you can tell how much the children enjoy using the library on that one day of the week. The childrens section takes up about half of this library and the kids are usually running around and excited.

My girls ages 2 & 4 both enjoy Fremont Swim School. The student teachers are really good with the children. We've been to the Newark and Fremont locations. I prefer Fremont for the toys they have in the waiting area for the kids to play with.
The water is always nice and toasty.
It is definitely more crowded in summer months but we signed up for fall session and it is much less crowded. In fact, my 4 year old has gotten 1 on 1 several times already when the other child is absent from her class. My 2 year old is in the Tiny Tot class with my husband. There is only 1 other child in her class as well.
I recommend taking classes 7pm on for less crowdedness and lessons all year round.
I would agree that the changing rooms are too small.
Overall I'm very pleased with Fremont Swim School.

Went there a few days before Halloween and it was a better than expected experience. Lots of pumpkins in all sizes and a range of prices. A good place to spend the day with kids and walk around. People are friendly, though the prices aren't too cheap. Next year should be even better.
