You are paying for an amateur hair cut when you go here as a customer. It is a hands on teaching school, so the students need to practice or experiment on manequins and live people in order to receive their certification. My friend is a bargain hunter and decided to go here because of the discount prices compared to a salon. The job they did on her hair was not horrible, but it had a few flaws. Certain layers were uneven and she did not get the cut she exactly wanted.

Ohlone College (or "O" on the hill, as it is fondly referred to) is the main junior college in Fremont. I know many 20 somethings that attend this school to further their education in computers, programming, media (they have their own popular radio station KOHL), and theatre. They have a very good arts curriculum, also. It is a rather small campus, but it is very pretty.

The doctors at Women's Health Specialists are wonderful. They understand what you as a woman are going through, especially when you are pregnant. They encourage and helo you when you are feeling emotionally stressed, and there is always a doctor on call to ask for advice, or to deliver your baby if you go into labor on a holiday or in the middle of the night.
Best of all, they encourage you to meet all of the doctors so in the case that you go into labor 'off hours' you will have met the person who is with you in the delivery room.
If you are pregnant (or trying to get pregnant) then this is a place you should check out!

This school is owned by a Dutch man who has been studying martial arts since he was 16 years old, living in China. He sponsors special professional martial artists to come and teach the classes on occasion. He's very friendly and teaches very well. He offers a friendly environment and great extracurricular program for people of all ages. He teaches forms and weapons. However, if you want to learn how to fight, this is not the place. This school focuses on form and competition.

Fremont Swim School is a nice year-round option because of its covered facility. However, you pay a premium for that roof. This program is considerably more expensive than other programs in the tri-city, especially in the summer. Aide to student ratios leave much to be desired as well. If you've no other choice, they are certainly competent and experienced, but I'd look into other programs before settling on this one.

Many of my friends and I have attended MPM since we were younger and can vouch for the fact that this enrichment institution can truly give a student an edge in their classroom studies. The tutors are helpful and able to respond to each student's needs. Though it is kind of expensive, it is probably worth it for those who can afford it and want their child to either improve in school or to score better marks.

This is an okay school. Ardenwood Elementary school is average and their facilities are very old and quite mediocre. The teachers there are all very new and don't have much experience in teaching. The students there don't seem to be as lively as the other elementary schools I've visited in California.
