"first thing" means 6 hours 3/22/2011

I brought my car in at 7:45 on a Friday for a new exhaust system and was assured it would be the first job. I let them know that I had a ride home, but that I NEEDED the car as soon as possible. It was finally done about 1:45! Oil changes (and everything else?) come first, I guess, even with two, count 'em, two, mechanics in the shop. Pathetic--unless of course you only need a $20 oil change instead of a $350 exhaust system replacement. more
