The Best Park in Fremont! 11/14/2005

I love Lake Elizabeth. It's suck a great place for the whole family. There is a Teen Center located near there that alot of teens like to hang out at. You can walk around the whole like which is about little over a mile. There is a few playgrounds in the park as well as a snackbar. You can also rent boats to sail out on the lake. it's always amazing day at Lake Elizabeth! I recommed anyone visiting Fremont to go by Lake Elizabeth. more

Perfect outdoors 10/24/2005

This is a huge park which is perfect for sunny outdoor days The lake is beautiful and you can enjoy boating there. You can either use your own boat and pay a small fee or rent a boat. Parking is not a problem except on holidays. Kids have a great time hete because there are many play areas with play structures and swings etc. It has 4 group picnic sites that can be reserved and lots of picnic grills and benches that are "first come first serve" It also has great walking trails There are a Senior center and communicty center that can be rented for special occasions. The library is walking distance, so borrow a book and read outdoors. I just had a bday party there. You need permit for music and party of more than 25 people. But that’s easy. more

Beautiful beautiful! 10/21/2005

This is a huge park around a huge lake located in Fremont. It has plenty of parking spaces, but even that is less on holidays and peak hours of weekends. It has multiple play areas with swings, slides for kids. It has 4 group picnic sites that can seat 100-300 people each and can be reserved and lots of picnic grills and benches that are "first come first serve" During summer, the lake has boat rides and paddle boats for rent and the best part is that people can use their own boats too. It has a few great walking trails which include a 2-mile walking trail around the lake There are a Senior center and communicty center that can be rented for special occasions more

great park! :) 10/21/2005

Lake Elizabeth is the Central Park of Fremont. The setting is pretty nice, allocated around...well duh, Lake Elizabeth! It's a man-made lake with an island in the middle (where all the birds go). There are many recreational activities available, there used to be a swimming pool but they have shut that down &there are rumours of a so-called 'water park', however I have no idea if that's true or not. Basically the whole park has an almost 2mile walking route with many playgrounds, a few 'exercise equipment' are scattered nearby the pavement, and barbeque areas! There is also a skateboarding area nearby. You can fish, boat, and paddle in Lake Elizabeth also. It's a wonderful place to go! more

a hearty stroll 8/20/2005

Lake Elizabeth is located in the center of Fremont. It is a very large and active park with vast facilities: boat paddling, soccer, baseball, tennis, cycling, a community center, running paths, and more. I used to enjoy going here often to feed the ducks in the lake and also every year on July 4th for the huge celebration and fireworks. Unfortunately, both of those activities are forbidden now. But, the park still has lots to offer and it's a great place for a jog or stroll. more

Good for a run 8/19/2005

Lake Elizabeth is an awesome place to go for a quick run or just a stroll. There is a scenic path along the lakeside which is open to joggers, walkers, and bikers, alike. There are also barbecue facilities available and plenty of park benches for outdoor gatherings. Its close proximity to the library also makes it very convenient. more

a great place for outdoor fun 8/17/2005

If you are looking for a place close by to take your children for some fun you need to check out Lake Elizabeth. This is a man-made lake in the middle of Fremont that is surrounded by a great wlking path, lots of grass and numerous children's playgrounds. It is a terrific place for kids to have fun and run around while Mom relaxes (perhaps with a friend or two on a playdate). It is also very nice for picnics. Unfortunately they no longer do the 4th of July fireworks here, but the lake is still great for daytime fun. more

Fun activities at the park 8/14/2005

Lake Elizabeth is a fun place for both kids and adults. The lake is in the middle of the park. There are also tennis courts, several playgrounds, picnic tables and BBQs, and a trail that goes around the lake. I’ve seen people with fishing poles out, but I don’t know if they ever caught anything. more

Family Friendly Park 8/11/2005

With four playground areas and six softball fields, it's hard to be bored at Lake Elizabeth, a park that also hosts tennis courts and a boat launch where one can rent paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, and sailboats. A great view of the rolling hills and Mission Peak makes the 1 1/2 mile trail around the lake an enjoyable trek, though you may have to share it with a large number of dog walkers when the weather is nice. A good family destination. more
