Thank you Kindred Central Tampa, I don't normally write reviews or provide feedback. I feel compelled to mention a few individual from the rehab team , Chandra , Salil, Jazmine , all the wound care team, specially Ashley, Wilma my nurse was very respectful, compassionate and professional. Last but not least Maria Miranda my patient representative , for high level of compassion , for her words of encouragement , professionalism and amazing smile everyday while visiting . I highly recommend this hospital to family and friends. more

Thank you Kindred Central! 3/27/2023

I have been at Kindred Central in Tampa for 7 weeks for wound care of several wounds created from Chemotherapy treatments. All of the doctors and nurses down to the CNA staff have all provided care that has helped the wounds heal faster than projected. I would like to recognize several staff that provided care over and above and made the stay here a good experience. RN's Aaron, Wilda , Judy and Lorena, Michael in Physical Therapy and Michelle & Jennifer in Occupational Therapy, Jarille, Case Manager, Maria, Patient Advocate, Nursing Supervisors Michelle and Marisol, Suzanne, Ashley and Victoria in Wound Care. I would highly recommend Kindred Central for anyone requiring care of wounds. more

Thank you Kindred Heroes You saved my wife's life and gave us a new journey and purpose in life. I like to thank Salil the director of rehab , Chandra my physical therapist , Michelle my occupational therapy for the encouragement and hard work . The respiratory therapist team were amazing , the pulmonary department outstanding weaning off my wife of the ventilator. The nursing team were excellent, caring , professional and compassionate To Maria Miranda the patient representative for always advocating for my wife and me. This has been an amazing journey, I highly recommend you to family and friends. more

agoNEW My stay at Kindred has been great , specially with the help of patient Representative MARIA MIRANDA'S help. She is a true professional and dedicated to patients needs at the hospital. I received help many times from her when faced with difficult issues, and all ended successfully resolved. Highly recommended to all families and friend at the hospital. Also, I want to commend DOCTOR GUERRERO for his great job as a Doctor and specially for listening to patients needs. Thank you for being so supportive. more

Muy agradecido con el servicio y la atención recibidas por los Médicos, enfermera,terapistas,personal administrativo y hasta el personal de limpieza. Estoy muy contento por el resultado obtenido y el calor y carisma de todo el personal,en especial a una Head Nurse llamada Kelly Perez quien siempre con su amor,ternura ,entrega. Una mujer que supo hacer el dolor,el problema ajeno como suyo para ayudarme aún cuando no era su paciente directo. Thank you Kindred CentralTampa for providing an excellent care. I visited my auntie at your facility; experienced how well the staff work , communicated and provided updates. We were asked to wear a hospital gown, we inquired information why we needed to wear the blue gown and gloves.; the patient representative and the nurse caring for my auntie in the second floor called the infections disease nurse. Leandra who explained in detail the reason why we should gown in. My family and I thank you for the care provided and we highly recommend you. more

Thank you Kindred Central Tampa , everyone at your facility are very nice, kind , respectful but most importantly professional. The medical care provided is excellent , the room is very clean , the techs and nurses are caring and loving.Dr. Atigre is very good and always listen to my needs, Jari my case management is amazing always receptive and attentive to my inquiries.the wound care team are so patience , go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, definitely a dream team , Aaron is a fresh breath of air, explain all my meds and what he is giving me at all times, Luis the nurse assistance is so great everytime he provides patient care. Last but not least to Maria my patient representative, for advocating for me and for helping my sister to understand the process at Kindred Central. I recommend you to my family and friends. more

Thank you Kindred Central . 1/30/2023

My grandma was there for a little over a month and my family and I were extremely happy with the administrative department at the hospital. We were especially happy with Maria Miranda and all the staff, nurses, doctors and physical therapists. We have no complaints with this hospital. The staff would always address any issues we had as soon as possible and would answer calls. They also made my grandma feel comfortable by having staff members who spoke Spanish and could communicate with her. My grandma thankfully is recovering and has been transferred to a rehabilitation facility but her time at Kindred Hospital definitely met and exceeded expectations. Our family would like to send a big thanks for all the staff and amazing people who helped us through our journey with my grandma. Naimad D more

Thank you to each and everyone for the amazing medical care. The case management team for a great discharge home plan. The nurses were excellent, specially Aurora, Estela my nurse assistant, the weekly meeting team for the updates and follow up with all my questions, the wound care team for the great job physical therapy and occupational therapy for the encouragement. This place was absolutely wonderful. My ex- husband was transferred here from Advent Hospital in Tampa. He was on a medication for his heart, that rehab facilities wouldn’t take him because of liability and insurance. From day one the whole staff Dr’s, cna’s , advocates, social workers, therapist, case management etc. Made sure his stay while there was the best it could be. Everyone would speak when passing by his room some would even come in and talk to us just to make sure our concerns are answered in a timely medicine. Ty was the best if he couldn’t answer our questions with a couple of hours we had an answer. I highly recommend this place for a loved who needs that little extra help.Thank you Kindred for taking care of this special man and the father of our daughter. Bonnie T more

Thank you Kindred ! 12/5/2022

My father was at Advent Pinellas for 11 days on a ventilator, and we were told he did not have brain function and we should sign a DNR. I wanted a second opinion and moved him to kindred. Within 24 hours he was squeezing the nurses hand, wiggling his toes, and could shake his head yes and no when asked questions. Had I listened to the doctor at Advent, he would not be here. I'm so thankful that I moved him, and Kindred handled all the insurance nonsense so I didn't have to worry about more

Gracias a los empleados del departamento de terapia respiratoria, a Maribel la asistente de enfermera y a las personas que noblemente limpian mi habitacion. Todas mis peticiones siempre fueron escuchadas , mis preguntas e inquietudes fueron solucionadas. Maria la representante del paciente por la bienvenida cuando ingrese al hospital y por visitarme todos los días. Se les agradece con mucho carino el buen servicio. I came to your facility worried in regard what the future will be and I have no words to express my gratitude. I want to take this time to thank you with all my heart, Maria Miranda ( Patient Relations Representative). I had arrived from Massachusetts on August 3, 2022 to be by my father’s side who was really Ill. Ms. Miranda made it possible for my husband and I to see him. It was a tough situation between families but Ms. Miranda made it possible for me to make my peace with my dad.I Prayed for him and his family there. My husband and I want to thank you so so much. You just don’t know how grateful we are for what you’ve done for us. ??. May our Lord and savior Jesus Christ bless you and your family. I worked in the medical field in the emergency room In Massachusetts for many years and I loved my job and loved the people I served and did everything I could for them and their family.
