Just Cookies

I'm going to make Just Cookies part of my regular stop. In America, we vote with our feet. God knows the politicians don't have any moral courage. A business owner who will stand up to homosexual bullies is a rare and beautiful gem. Visit early and visit often! more

I would refer those who complain of Just Cookies' refusal to make rainbow cupcakes for a pro-homosexual group to the two most fundamental texts upon which our nation's freedoms and values are based. First, the Bible denounces homosexuality in Genesis chapter 19, Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:27-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 1 Timothy 1:9-10 (both Old and New Testament scriptures). Second, our Constitution, specifically regarding freedom of speech. more

Well if they had denied making cupcakes for a heterosexual party we would have never heard about it. Thank you for standing up for what you and I believe is right. It is your business that you and your family OWN don't let a bunch of people that think that the people they choose to have sex with earns them special rights and parades run your company. Religious beliefs out of the picture homosexuality goes against the building blocks of mankind and that is a fact. America needs more companies like yours! more

Not sure what the fuss is. A store quite explicitly named ""Just Cookies"" refused to make cupcakes. That would be like if a group of gay people went to Chik-Fil-A ordered a bunch of cheeseburgers, and then made a stink because they refused to fill the order. The place makes ONLY COOKIES. Go to another bakery and STFU. more

Owners and supporters ought to be ashamed of themselves. How do you sleep at night with such hate and discrimination in your souls? It makes me sad that you would teach your children that it's okay to hate as long as someone is different from you. And their cookies suck. more

Everybody is sooo upset that this restaurant exercised their RIGHT to refuse service (to anyone) for something they believe in. You have to stand up for what you believe in. The guy below me is so full of hate in his message, but yet says that values is being ""Kind,"" ""generous."" and ""loving"" but look at how his review is written.....Hmmmm. He also says it is to be ""dedicated"". If these owners are dedicated to their beliefs, then how could you ask them to go against them in a business THEY OWN??? I am proud that they stand up for what they believe. more

So not every local place can be great but some can be amazing. This place is a local place worth skipping. How can you mess up a cookie you might ask? Somehow this place figured it out. I hate suggesting a chain, but if you need a great cookie check out Circle Centre Mall. If you want something local, walk a few blocks to Mass Avenue and grab a cupcake. more

I am disappointed and dismayed at the practices of this so-called ""place of business"". Refusing to do business with a college institution for a GLBT event because it violates their ""morals and values"" and then hanging up on the person trying to work with them?! I didn't realize discrimination was a ""moral value"". Boycott them!? more
