Jeepers

We went to take my daughter to Jeepers (aka Jungle Jim's playland) and we ended up leaving after we walked in and looked around. The rides seemed run down and very dirty. I remember going several years ago and it was a fun place for the kids. Now it is in definite need for some renovation before I will go back again. more

Jeepers is a nice place to bring a group of kids to waste a few hours without spending a humongous amount of money. They have got tons of games to keep the kids entertained, and you can get pizza and soda to make sure the kids have enough energy to go wild here. It is your typical kids hangout, many broken machines and not the cleanest place in the world...But personally I don't want to bring my kids to some immaculate place that I would be constantly worried that they may break something at. This place gets the job done without any frills. more

Jeepers is a pretty decent place to take your kids. Id say its for kids 5-11. Younger kids wont have much fun, and older kids will think its boring. When you walk in you buy a wristband and you use that to get on less then a dozen rides. Go karts, little roller coasters. They also have a small arcade with prizes, and eating area. Eating area has pizza of course. Good for a little get together of kids. more

Staffing issues are a problem as they never seem to have enough staff for all the rides and everyone who works there seems to want to be anywhere but there. But kids can still have fun on the rides and play areas that are available. The arcade is ok but if something needs fixing good luck finding a staff member for help. I agree with the other poster that stamping your hand is a waste of time since you have to find someone to check you in and check you out. But if you want a fun day out of the Arizona heat this might be a place to consider. more

Jeepers birthday parties are the easiest parties we've ever had. Everything is taken care of, the kids have a great time, and the prices are very affordable. A $10 wrist band will provide you with access to all rides for as long as you care to stay. There are bumper cars, a merry-go-round, typical kiddie rides and a really fast little roller coaster. There are also climbing areas and video games. The biggest downfall I can think of is their security. Children and adults have their hands stamped when arriving only if there is an employee lurking nearby. Mostly everyone comes and goes freely, which is a little frightening with so many children around. However, the kids have such a great time that the hard part is getting them to leave, not keeping them in. Also, it's not the cleanest place we've ever been... take along some wipes and use them often on your hands. more
