Big surf is a great place to cool off in the sunny heat of arizona. Price is a little steep, I belive around 20 bucks a person, plus it cost more to rent a tube, but for an entire day of fun its worth it.
I really enjoy the tidal wave pool. And the slides are great too.
Its a safe enviroment. There are tons of lifegaurds on duty so there is never any trouble.
Snack bar is decent.. but pricey.. and if you stay all day you will need to eat!

Changing hands is a wonderful book store hidden in tempe.. You actually have to look for it, I would have never known such a wonderful place was hidden in that strip mall.
They have a huge selection, and the employees are so passionate about books. Very helpful.
The childrens area is just lovely. Definatly go to a storytelling hour, its worth it. A lot better storyhour then at one of those huge unfriendly bookstores.

Desert Breeze in chandler is a great park. I like to go in the summer and let the kids play in the splash area. They have animal statues that squirt water at them. This park also features a nice playground area, equipped with the latest equipement. There is a train that runs through, but we never seem to catch in when its open.
I enjoy the little lake with the ducks and fishing. My kids get a big kick out of watching the ducks.

You can get just about any dog carrier you can think of for your little guy here.
Also the collars are adorable.. and can get expensive. But why wouldnt you want to spend the best on mans best friend?

Jeepers is a pretty decent place to take your kids. Id say its for kids 5-11. Younger kids wont have much fun, and older kids will think its boring.
When you walk in you buy a wristband and you use that to get on less then a dozen rides. Go karts, little roller coasters.
They also have a small arcade with prizes, and eating area.
Eating area has pizza of course.
Good for a little get together of kids.

I always go here to buy film. You get great film here at great prices that you cant find at walmart.
A+ service and knowlagable associates make this the best place to shop for cameras.

They have a great selection of music, and the prices are decent. Sometimes I would rather wait a while after a cd comes out and buy it here then pay 8 dollars more for it new.
Also their exchange up policy is good.

Craftmart is a really cool store. First off it is huge inside! They have a little bit of everything that you would need for a crafting project. They also have a lot of fabric too for sewing projects. The employees are very helpful. You could spend hours here looking at differnt stuff. It can be a bit overwellming when going in there looking for a specific item though. It isnt layed out very well. Prices are pretty comparable to other craft shops.

Growing up with allergies and asthma was not pleasant at all . But Dr. Chu made it a very unscary and great experience. His whole office staff are just wonderful. Each visit started off in his office, at his desk, in a very comfy enviroment. Then the Procedures room was very inviting too. He always knew everyone by name.
I had to go in weekly for allergy shots, and was always greeted so nicely whenever he saw me.
If you are your child have allergies this is absolutly the nicest place to go.

Sidewalk surfer is a classic scottsdale shop. They have everything and more in this place. Its a very friendly place to shop. You could just sit in here for hours looking at stuff and chatting. Prices are exceptional. If there is something you are looking for and they dont have it, they are happy to help. They even had UGGs last year when they were sold out everywhere and my daughter wanted a pair. At a great price too I might add.
Stop in and check it out. YOu wont be dissapointed.
