Best Pizza in Madison in spite of it's trendiness 11/30/2005

Hands down the best crust and sauce of any pizza in Madison, and as a true pizza lover will tell you, it is the crust, and then sauce, that are by far the two most important things in a pizza. Any pizza place can have good toppings. Most pizza places do not have sauce or crust that is any good. The only downside to Ian's is the half-witted drunk frat boys and sorority girls that frequent this place. Often too drunk to even stand up. You'll definately want to get your order to go, or even better have it delivered. more

Ian's a popular spot 8/13/2005

College students in Madison just like Ian's Pizza that much. Why? Because they have successfully maintained their specialty with their different pizzas in the menu. Once you have been there, that won;'t be your last trip there. Prices are great for the quality of food you get. It's a pretty popular spot, especially for UW Madison students more

Pizza by the Slice 8/12/2005

If you're a college student, chances are you have been to Ian's. The pizzas are strange: the combinations are almost unheard of. They are the more extreme version of California Pizza Kitchen. But we love it anyhow. The flavors burst in our mouths as we take bite after bite. I would give this place a PERFECT rating if not for the dirty establishment. The tables are unkempt, and the floors equally dirty. Sometimes they are clean, but most of the time... it is just plain messy. more

  • Coffeehouse, coffee shop, and coffee bar are related terms for an establishment which primarily serves hot coffee, related coffee beverages (e.g., espresso, cappuccino, caffè latte), tea and other hot beverages. Many cafés also serve some type of food, such as pastries, muffins or light snacks. Coffeehouses range from owner-operated small businesses to multinational companies such as Starbucks.
Café in continental Europe refers to a traditional type of coffeehouse, but elsewhere "cafe" may refer to a tea room, small and cheap restaurant (colloquially a "caff"), transport cafe, or other casual eating and drinking place.[1][2][3][4][5] A coffeehouse may share some of the same characteristics of a bar or restaurant,
