I think the Good Egg is given a good reputation for the main fact that they are easily accessible. They have a captive audience. The place is always packed, the prices are pretty high for the amount of seating and waiting times, and it is hard to find parking. In my opinion, their location right next to Starbucks is more of what makes them popular than the food, ambience, or service. Located near downtown and really visible from Central Avenue, the yuppy type business people from downtown who have work hours that allow them to go ""hide out"" somewhere and have long luch breaks frequent that restaurant. It is almost like an event for the pretentious than an eating experience. Then, several of the patrons sit at their table talking for an hour after they eat. The restaurant should encourage people to move on.
Pros: Food is good., Clean., Nice interior.
Cons: Long waits., Always crowded., Stuffy patrons.
