Tourists want good seafood when visiting Galveston, and why shouldn't they? Considering the proximity to waterways, etc. you would think seafood restaurants could deliver. However, that is not the case with Fisherman's Wharf. The menu is rather boring and overpriced, especially considering the quality. The atmosphere is the only saving grace as it is located on the bay side with a nice look @ surrounding restaurants and the Elissa Sailing Ship.
Bottom Line: if you're a local, don't even try it. If you're visiting, you could certainly do worse, but invariably could also do better. If you want food and don't care about a view, head elsewhere.
