We had fun here. It wasn't the best, but we really enjoyed the break from the pyramids. We brought our swimsuits and changed into them then played for a while and changed back and were able to go back to the pyramids. They have big changing rooms that make it easy. We will definitely be back to Palm Beach this summer. They have a water spray park, a few pools and my dd's favorite the big octopus slides :-)

This trip will be unforgettable always to me. This was a beautiful building and the tour was great. The reason it will be unforgettable though is because my daughter was under 1yr old and had just learned how to squeal. The whole tour she was squealing loudly to hear the echo. We were laughing so hard. I felt bad for her interrupting the tour, but it was so adorable. The tour is great though.

We went in to kill some time and decided to go and see this movie. We were actually really surprised at how interesting it was and had me near tears in parts just imaging what the people that lived there went through. This is a must for anyone that is visiting Galveston. It gives you a much better respect for the island and island life.

Wow, this is a great place to visit! Whether local or tourist, everyone should give this seaport museum a go. This is where the new official Tall Ship of Texas is located, the Elissa. It's a beautiful piece of sailing history, and you can see it up close and personal. Things can get a little hectic if you are trying to visit on days that the cruise ships are boarding, so either come early or choose a different day.
Bottom Line: Do it, you'll love it.

Think of this like a fair, with many people dressed to perform in Oliver Twist. Really it was really a lot of fun. Some of the costumes were amazing! Of course, a lot of people played fast and loose with the period, but it was really entertaining. The Queen's parade in the afternoon was really entertaining, and there were more bag pipe players there than I thought there would be in all of Texas. Great shopping, great food. Take the trolley in though, because parking is tight.

We have seen a few movies here and while the 3D part is really neat the movies are a tad cheesy. I wish they would show something better. And the few times they have, they charged extra for it. We really did enjoy the Santa movie they had there though, it was cute. We've seen the dinosaur one a few times. It's a good theater, just needs better selection of movies.

We liked this the first time we went, but then it changed into a putt putt course. It was really cheesy. All the holes were in this one room and I felt bad for the people that actually paid to get into it. Then we went back and last time it was something different again. I wasn't overly impressed with the discovery pyramid. IF you are paying for attractions seperately, skip this one.
