Like the other reviewers said...horrible place. The front desk staff is rude and so are some of the doctors. They don't care about you as a person, just want to get you in and out. Probably the worst doc is Katherine Malbon, a PA. What a witch! And I am not kidding. She has the absolute worst bedside manner, treats patients like objects and is rude and condescending. She doesn't explain anything and just barks orders at you. Why in the world she wanted to become a PA is beyond me, because she is clearly NOT a people person. It wouldn't hurt her to smile every once in a while and be nice to patients. She is like a robot and absolute zero compassion. Calling her a nasty witch is actually paying her a compliment. She would be better off in research than dealing with people. more

I travel a lot for work. Once I forgot my medication while traveling and called to at least get 1-2 pills. They would not fill my prescription without seeing me! The medication is not a controlled substance and I have horrible side effects when I don't take it. All of which I told to the DR (Dr Jones). He didn't care. They only care about my co-pay and the hundreds of dollars they get from my insurance company. They forced me to wait until I got back to schedule an apt to get a refill!\r \r This just happened a 2nd time. I called Monday to get a refill. Hit 4 to get the the pharmacy. The first thing the woman (Nancy I believe) said when she answered was ""I am not supposed to be doing this but how can I help you?"" Ok who says that? I told her my situation and she said it would take 24 hours to get a refill looked at by the DR. I called Tuesday Morning and NOBODY looked at it. I then called Wed (3 days without pills) and NOBODY looked at it still. The woman said ""Hang in there"". Of the 3 DR's I have seen there 2 of them were on vacation and Dr Jones didn't have time to look at my script. At this time I was going through withdrawal and I get really irritable. I basically told her that this is rediculous and honestly was raising my voice but not screaming or being insane. Heck my boss was right next to me and he said ""Well you are taking pills because of anxiety and you are being anxious on the phone, what do they expect?. The woman ended up hanging up on me 3 times. 1 time was because I simply said, ""Well nobody has yet to call me back why would you?"" Apparently she doesn't like the truth. She ended up telling Dr Jones that I was yelling and screaming (all of which was a lie) and ""He was upset and wasn't happy"". Not once did anybody ask me how I was doing without my meds! Not once! All they cared about was getting me off the phone and scheduling another appointment with me. \r \r Some office manager ended up calling me back and telling me I have 30 days to find a new DR. HA, like I would stay there after this. I hope somebody finds this review helpful and doesn't go there because of it.\r \r First Colonial Family practice doesn't care about your well-being, PERIOD. more

Horrible service, rude, very untimely 3/5/2012

I stopped going to this practice years ago and after 2 trips in the last 2 weeks, I remember clearly why. I saw a doctor there 2 weeks ago and was told that If my throat infection did not clear up I could call up there and he would call something else stronger in. After 10 days my infection was starting to return, I called in to see if I could get a new prescription. I was told the doctor that saw me was on vacation and that I had to come in. I did, arriving at 5:45. Three people were seen in an hour and 20 minutes. I was finally called back. After Dr. George Bullard looked in my throat and ears, I asked him if he saw anything? He said no, then asked me if I have been coughing anything up. After I responded, ""yes I have and it is yellow."" He then told me I still have an infection. Then he said, If it does not clear up, come back in and we will take another look. I said, that would be the third trip for the same infection. Can't you call something in stronger for me at that point without me having to come back in? He said, ""no we are open seven days a week, we are here to see patients"". Talk about not caring for your patients. He should have told the truth and told me he was there to bill my insurance and take my co payment as many times as he could. I will never go back there again. Dr. Bullock thinks his time is obviously more valuable than any of his patients. more

Rude, incompetent doctor 9/25/2009

This was my primary care physician but I am changing doctors after having several appointments with doctors who spend only 5 minutes with me but in that time manage to treat me condescendingly, give me attitude, and convey the fact that they did not graduate at the top of their class. I rarely go to the doctor, so when I go, I'd like to know I'm seeing someone who knows what they're doing. Pros: Convenient - same day appointments Cons: Doctors more
