I read the reviews before driving from metro to downtown and thought, yeah, give it a try. I was sorely disappointed. For $9, I got 6 ravioli. Not much. Thank god I ordered a large salad, or I would have left hungry. The pasta was good, service was good, sauces varied from good to not so good. We went with a party of four and everyone ordered different dinners, so I got to taste four different pastas and sauces. The last sauce on the menu is the best, order it! Don't get ravioli unless you aren't really hungry. While it was OK, I won't bother going back. It is certainly nothing to write home about. I truly can't understand why so many people rave about it. It was simply a decent pasta house. I went to order espresso after dinner and the cashier told me it wasn't very good. I'm not sure if it's really not good or if she just didn't want to fix it. OK at best. I must say that I prefer Olive Garden and will go there next time I crave pasta rather than this place.
Pros: great bread, salad
Cons: no parking at virginia highlands, we had to walk 1/2 mile, overpriced pasta
