I currently don't live in Decatur nor anywhere in the Atlanta area, but I'm on my way. From my first individual visit years ago, I've been facinated with what this town has to offer. I love the atmosphere, the lifestyle, the options, and feel of the atlanta area and I'll be sure to be one of the first guys to move into one of those high rise condos.
My current city is country and fried with boredom. Me and the Mrs feen to taste the air in atlanta all the time. My only fear is finding an employer there. With all of the competition and people already their I usually feel like I won't be in the running, but I don't care, i'll get there anyway.

I have had many facials but never an aromatherapy facial. Jestacia is very sweet and she goes over any concerns you are having with you skin. She did the steaming, masks and cleansing. She did the microdermabrasion on my face. The one thing I was glad she did not do is pop any blemish which is one of the most painful experiences during a standard facial. The next day I noticed how soft the skin on my face looks and 5 days latter it still looks amazing. I highly recommend Jestacia if you are looking for a great facialist and your skin will look refreshed and youthful.
Pros: Friendly, Smooth Skin
Cons: None

More
Decatur Yellow Bikes is a non-profit organization that takes donated bikes and fixes them up for people to ride. You just pay a $25 deposit, and you can take a bike home with you. If you decide to keep it, it's only $25 out of your pocket, if not, you can get your deposit back. If you ever have any problems, you can go and get it fixed for free. It is all volunteer run, so they need as many volunteers they can get, even if you don't know much about bicycles. The purpose of the organization is to encourage more bicycle riding, which is a great idea, especially in this time of high gas prices.

More
Oakhurst Baptist Church is a welcoming Christian community that prides itself on its openness. During the 60's and 70's, as white flight began in Atlanta, this was one of the first and only churches to reach out to both races and create an interracial parish. In the 90's, it insisted on extending this welcoming spirit to gays and lesbians as well, even after the Baptist church threatened to kick it out of the national federation. The sense of community here is real and the pastor, Lanny Peters, is a superb speaker. One of the church's slogans is that every member is a minister, and they take that literally, allowing anyone in the congregation to plan a worship service. That can be a good thing and a bad thing. Sometimes, it feels a bit like a high school talent show, but the people are dedicated and involved.
