went in for first time the office was very busy and kind of loud but i did not have to wait long for my appointment, Dr Corpus was fun and improved my glass prescription, Laurie Hoch was also most pleasant, the staff very pleasant as well, everything was done in a timely manner, will be going back in the future. more

I walked in off the street, having just relocated to California. Sonny took me right under his wing, securing me an appointment right away. He performed the initial exam and the equipment was clean and state of the art. The doctor was thorough and explained his process very well. He took plenty of time with me and checked my eyes for pressure and disease. The selection of frames and lenses is terrific and Sonny took as much time as I needed to help me choose new frames. I never felt rushed or pressured. All in all, it was a great experience. more

Laure Hoch was awesome! She was so patient with me as I picked out the right frames, explained all about wearing progressive lenses, and never made me feel bad when I changed my mind on the frames she special ordered for me. Instead she helped me pick out another pair that I liked better and made sure I was happy with my choice. She has wonderful custmer service skills. This ones a keeper. She needs a raise! more

First time shopping for eyeglasses was fun. Jennifer greeted me with a warm smile. Samantha offered helpful insights. And Cynthia, well Cynthia was a total pro and a delightful conversationalist. It took me nearly two hours to go from start to finish on one pair of glasses and one pair of sun glasses, but it was never laborious. Cynthia gave me her total attention. Unlike anywhere else I've ever been (and I've lived in three cities around the country and have been wearing glasses since I was a child) I didn't have to troll for frames on my own. She offered me a seat then pulled several frames for me to consider. It was classic customer service. She explained everything in useful detail, presented options and was patient with my decision-making process. All three were exceptionally knowledgeable as well as witty and engaging. The atmosphere was unrushed and relaxing. They carry easily the most varied and interesting array of frames I've seen in any one shop: very nice sophisticated, stylish and unusual designs as well as all the basics. Decent discounts helped though and I left feeling like I'd already received great value, and I don't even have my glasses yet. I may have to buy a third pair of glasses just to have an excuse to go back and visit the unusually charming and professional staff. They are the exact opposite of what you usually find among "service" retailers. more

I've had glasses all my life and my 4 year old daughter needed glasses. Dr. Corpus was awesome with her. Her glasses have held up. We picked out her glasses while were were waiting to be seen, which didn't take long. And we were in & out of there quickly without being rushed. Her glasses came in on time & they took their time making sure they fit her little head. Thanks you so much! This will be my place to go to as well. more

Overall my visit was great. However, it would have been nice to know up front that my copay amount had changed. It went up $20 from last year. I could have been more prepared to pay the higher amount if I had known ahead of time. more

Finally, a friendly, knowledgeable staff in on optometry setting! I've been to several eye doctors in the past few years, and the "bedside manner", if you will, of the doctor here was the best I've experienced in recent memory. Staff was well-versed in the frames offered and the coverage by our insurance, which made for a great experience. I'd recommend Eye Designs at Arden Mall to anyone who asked! more

I had a pIrate of frames I purchased from another place in LA even though I did not purchase them there they still were able to get them warrantied, Samatha was great. When I went into pick them up I was so impressed with the selection and service of Rose the asst manager I purchased 2 more pair.
