Erie Animal Hospital

I've been going to EAH for many years and am always frustrated with their inability to stay on schedule. Today was the last straw. We waited for over 50 minutes. Just ridiculous. Too many other reputable Vets in the area that I can switch to. I've given them enough money and have put up with their poor customer service long enough. I would suggest skipping over Erie Animal Hospital if you're looking for a vet. more

I would recommend anything but taking your animal to this hospital. None of the vets there could give us any of there time to explain our options. They gave us medicine to administer, but did not tell us if they had given it to our cat before she was discharged. The vets barely have time for you, every time we brought our cat in, they ran through the blood work very quickly, then left. Finally, they did not tell us what to look out for when we brought our cat home. Her prognosis was not good, but we brought her home to see if she would get better (she has before), and the vet said she would not be in any serious discomfort. Well, her lungs filled and her breathing became very labored quickly, which is common with her condition. The vets didn't tell us this was likely or even possible, so our cat suffered needlessly. Go anywhere but this hospital, if you care about your pets. more

Being a huge animal lover and owner we've had the ability to try the services at many local animal hospitals and veternarians. I have to say this is the absolute best place I've ever gone to. The staff is not only completely helpful and friendly but they show that they truly do care. The doctors are top notch and take the time to explain. You are never surprised with a bill, they offer a written up estimate in advance giving you both the worse case scenario (financial wise) and best case so you know what you're going to be working with. I can't say enough good about this business! more

We took our kitten to Erie Animal Hospital to have her claws removed. They were very caring and gentle. Our kitten kept removing her wrappings and would bleed alot, but I could always bring her back in to be re-wrapped. Their price was reasonable because they have a deal with The Humane Society and we were given a $45.00 credit because we adopted our kitten through The Humane Society. I think it's a great idea because this also included getting our kitten fixed and more people will do it because the money is available. more

Erie Animal Hospital is a great place to get your sick family pet well, or just to have his or her checkup and current vaccinations. Everyone on the staff from the receptionist to all the vets are most caring and loving to your prized pet. They also carry all the products and specialty foods your pet may need. more
