I've been going to Dr List for a few years and find him to be extremely personable. He seems genuinely interested in me as a person besides my teeth. He gives a painless injection and is very detailed about everything. This is not a ""get em in, get em out "" office. His entire staff is friendly and knows what they are doing. His hygienist is very thorough and it's a very comfortable cleaning. His receptionist is very helpful and really understands my insurance so I know exactly what kind of coverage I have. I've seen Dr. List for the past several years. At almost every visit, he tries to sell me something. He's not a bad dentist, but I do kind of wonder the medical neccesity of all of the procedures he recommends. He's also pretty expensive for a cleaning and for any other services. He now has this machine that can ""find cavities"" when he can't see them, they don't show up on an x-ray, and your tooth feels fine. If you go to this machine's website, it talks about how much money it will make your dental practice because it will find all these cavities that you can then fill. I'm thinking of going to someone else because I don't know whether the procedures he recommends are medically necessary or whether he's recommending them to make money.
