I stopped going to her because I felt that she was not listening to me when I would tell her something, like she had something else on her mind. I am sure that she knows what she ...

Like other reviewes have said.....Run she's a terrible doctor 3/28/2018

Practices medicine her way! Truly does not give a .. about the concerns of the patient. Will not lift a finger. You will feel like your talking to a brick wall. Claims she is an internal medicine specialist but cannot treat acid reflux. State Medical Board oversight in Washington is non-existent. She probably shouldn't be practicing. more

Good Doctor 1/19/2009

Dr Samavedi is a good doctor, and has delivered prompt and caring service to me and my family without exception. We have been under her care for five plus years. I would recommend her as a physician. more

HORRIBLE DOC.....DON'T SEE HER....RUN THE OTHER WAY 10/19/2007

Hi, I am a 40-year-old female and was seeing Dr. Samavedi for various health issues. I moved to WA from CA so was new to Dr. Samavedi. My first visit with her was odd, she barely spoke two words to me, typed a bunch of info on her computer and then refilled my prescriptions from my Doctor in CA and then left the room, that was it, no questions asked. I decided I should give it some time, get to know her, and assumed we would build a relationship over the next year. It never happened. Dr. Samavedi continued to be cold, rude and distant, she did not ask me how I was feeling, if there were any changes in my health etc. she simply re-filled my prescriptions and had the nurse take my blood. She is more of a pharmacist than anything. In February of 2007, I came down with pneumococcal pneumonia, and called to see if Dr. Samavedi could get me in, they said she could not see me, so I ended up going to Dr. Duran at Access Health Care in Lakeland Hills (he is an outstanding physician), and he diagnosed me with pneumococcal pneumonia. It turned out in a period of 24 hours my blood had become septic and my blood pressure was almost non-existant. Dr. Duran called an ambulance to take me to the local hospital and I was admitted and stayed for five days. It was a very scary experience and Dr. Duran literally saved my life. Dr. Samavedi could not bother herself to see me and when you are very, very ill your Doctor, most Doctors will fit you in and take care of you, Dr. Duran couldn’t believe that Dr. Samavedi my very own general practitioner could not fit me in knowing I was deathly ill. Even after I was discharged and on the road to recovery Dr. Samavedi did not follow up with me and see how I was doing. Dr. Samavedi does not care about her patients at all; she should really be working in a different field. After being discharged from the hospital and following up with Dr. Duran I was 100% and feeling like my old self and have been seeing Dr. Duran ever since. I would never recommend Dr. Samavedi for anything; she is the worst Dr. I have seen in all of my forty years and I would swear to this under oath. more

Too Busy 3/13/2006

I stopped going to her because I felt that she was not listening to me when I would tell her something, like she had something else on her mind. I am sure that she knows what she is talking about, but I want all of her attention when I am in her office. more

Great Doctor 12/5/2005

I was shocked when I read the other review listed here. Dr. Samavedi has been my Dr. for over a year and I never found her to be anything but helpful and caring. She has answered all questions and always seemed concerned about aleviating any pain/problems. more

Not a good Doc 7/28/2005

Dr. Vandita Samavedi saw my wife once when her PCP was unavailable. My wife needed to be seen for a sore throat, possibly strep. Dr. Samavedi was unfriendly and treated my wife as if her pain was in her head. And though, her sore throat did not end up being strep in the end, Dr. Samavedi offered nothing helpful when it came to alleviating my wife's pain. She simply told her that the over-the-counter medicines would work if my wife used them properly which they never helped. I feel that Dr. Samavedi didn't care to really listen to what my wife was saying and also belittled her and her pain. more
