Brandon from the start was friendly, fun and not at all pushy. He responded to our inquiries, gave informed answers about our questions, fought for us to get a vehicle before another salesperson swiped it and gave me an UNBELIEVEABLE DEAL on exactly what I was looking for. The Sales staff at Vancouver's Dick Hannah Volkswagen were great! After a disappointing trip to another local dealership I stopped unexpectedly here to see what they had. I was pleasantly surprised at the great customer service. Justin in particular was very helpful in getting me into the car I wanted. They bent over backward to make sure my purchase was made under the terms I wanted. I've purchased a lot of vehicles over the last 25 years. Most of those have been new and unfortunately my experiences with the salespeople and dealerships overall have been less than satisfying (I'm putting this mildly). I consulted CarsDirect dot com and was put in touch with a local dealer, but I chose not to work with them because of their low ratings, both here on CitySearch and elsewhere. A little more research led me to the very highly-rated Dick Hannah VW in Vancouver so I contacted them and arranged for a visit. When I arrived at Dick Hannah VW I was greeted by James who is one of the most knowledgeable, low-key, honest and hard-working people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. And it seems that he's not an anomaly at Dick Hannah VW. While I was there I interacted with a number of other employees who all treated me with respect, kindness and honesty. Sunny days in the Pacific NW are rare this time of year so I longed to be outside on the day of my visit, but I never regretted my choice to spend it with James and the other members of the Dick Hannah ""family"" (this is really what it felt like)! I showed up 10 minutes after talking to Travis on the phone and he quickly introduced me to Alex my salesman. I knew I liked Alex just a few minutes after we started talking. He is the one car salesman I have ever talked to that was courteous and knowledgeable. The kind of person you want to buy a car from. My wife was not with me when I was looking at the car but they were very kind enough to drive over 45 minutes away to show it to her at her work. We ended up buying the car and are so very happy with our purchase. When I need another VW in the future I will be going to see Alex. I would encourage you to do the same. What I enjoyed the most of this meeting with Mary Ann was that I did my homework and she let me buy exactly what I wanted to buy at the price I wanted to pay. But wait, there's more! I called numerous VW locations and let them know I was shopping out a car for an immediate delivery to surprise my wife when she got home on Valentines day. I was in and out like a burger. Less than 1 hour with her and she left me with finance which I was already approved so that part was unnecessary. 1 hour and 20 minutes from driving on the lot to leaving with a smile and everything that was promised was delivered. She even thew in some extras because she wanted to make sure I was comfortable with my next purchase and a return visit to her. I will be back,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Pros: it was fresh and hot.
