Above and beyond the call of duty 5/8/2009

Today our daughter had her third cancer related surgery and came home from the hospital this afternoon. At about 5 PM I googled "San Mateo florist" to find one to deliver an arrangement to her home in San Mateo today. I was told by three of them that they weren't making any more deliveries today but would help me tomorrow. I then call Dana's and ended up speaking with Dana. She said - "No problem, I'll drop them off on the way home." She did and they were beautiful and well done according to our grateful daughter. Thank you Dana. more

Happiness to my wedding's eyes 1/26/2009

I had Dana's Flower Basket do the flowers for my wedding and I must say I was VERY please. They had a large array of flowers to select from, custom designs were created by their very talented floral designer Elizabeth Cheng and the price was very comfortable for the abundant amount of product and work that went into creating a floral paradise for my special day.Please stop by their quaint shop in San Mateo, you will fall in love with the atmosphere and the personnel's charm.I give this place an A++ more

Danas Flower Basket 7/7/2006

When I worked in San Mateo, I have ordered a number of bouquets at the Danas Flower Basket. I always got personalized services and most of the time could pick what i wanted over the phone and just pick it up in a few hours. The bouquets always looked fresh and the flowers looked first class.\r \r I also liked the location of the shop - with lots of free parking around - no need to stock up on meter money!\r \r highly recomend. more

never got them! 3/23/2006

About 6 years ago my parents sent me flowers from the East Coast and Dana's Flower Basket was the company contracted to deliver them. They didn't leave them for me, and left me a message asking when to redeliver them. I called them back and left a message, but never heard from them again and never got the flowers. more

Professional, friendly service 9/2/2005

I had a few arrangements made up for an event - with little to go on (just the colors, no flower selection), they made beautiful centerpieces! Fresh and beautiful and ready to go at MY convenience and packaged in nice vases and floral boxes (not just some cardboard boxes like I had with other companies). The staff is friendly and professional. I would definitely trust them with a special occasion. more
