The Scene This $45 million, 210,000-square-foot entertainment and shopping complex (opened Oct. 5, 2000) occupies most of the 1500 and 1600 blocks of Seventh Avenue and sprawls back through Eighth. It also includes a $5 million renovation to the historic Centro Espanol social club built in 1912. The Goods The anchors of fun are GameWorks, a second-story Muvico 20 Theater (with a 21-and-over bistro) and an Improv Comedy Club. Patrons shop at Camelot Music, American Eagle Outfitters, Urban Outfitters, Victoria's Secret, Pacific Sunwear, Afterthoughts, Eyetems, GBX Shoes, Bodyknit Streetwear, Silver Edge, Metropolitan Deluxe and more. Food options include Mezzanote Italian Restaurant, Max's Shakes & Burgers, Starbucks, Big City Tavern, Adobe Gila's, Ybor Station Alehouse and Lazy Flamingo.
