Salad Rolls are the best! 8/21/2007

This restarant has great sushi. I only eat the cooked stuff, but believe me it's great. They have a sushi called ""Salad Roll"" which is like California Roll except it has a bunch of FRESH lettuce rolled with it. It is so delicious, I crave it. The prices are so cheap for great sushi. They have boats going around the Sushi Bar so you just sit down and start eating! No need to wait to be seated. Pros: Great Prices! Cons: Closed on Sunday more

best sushi! 1/3/2007

I have been eating sushi since I was 10 and it's a tradition of my father and I. We drive 30 minutes for another place and when I found california roll I will drive no further then in my own town!! They finally remodeled it and the sushi was always great and now the atmosphere matches it !! They have this roll called the salad roll MMMM!! and the fried hamachi WOW. The boats don't even have water which is something I really like. The sushi guy..now what's his name...SHO I think. FUNNY guy!!! \r thanks for great sushi!! more

The sushi is always top notch, good taste and great value, but the service leaves something to be desired. I am not sure if they are understaffed or what. What I do know is that eat here at least once a week and I still get the same kind of bad service I always have. The waitresses ignore me when i want to sit and when I am ready to pay. It's strange. If the food wasn't so tasty, I probably wouldn't come back. more

We stopped by last night for the first time. There were many tables available at that moment, but for those waitress customers apparently did not seem be important at all, they would rather sit there chattering, joking and laughing. We waited at the door for over 10 minutes, and received only two or three indifferent fleeting look from them, but nobody even say hi or had a gesture of greeting. Even now I do not know why we were totally ignored. After about 12-15 minutes, we decided it was not a place we should try, and I will not nerve go back to that place. It is not a place for us to relax after a long week, actually it hurts, who know why!...... more

Sushi blah 11/25/2003

The fish is not very flavorful, the staff seems to have better things to do with their time. The prices are very low, but you do get what you pay for. Make sure that they make up your order fresh (especially the cooked maki rolls), otherwise they will just pull your order off of one of the boats. Cooked meals are better. Pros: Cheap eats Cons: Tasteless fish, Blah waitstaff more

Change of Mind 7/29/2003

I came after a long hiatus and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with what I saw. The quality has gone down in regards to freshness of the fish and the wait staff has become inattentive. Usually, sushi chefs are more compliant and willing to make things up according to customer request -- and maybe I caught him on a bad day but he got very testy with me. The waitress who was working my area was not very helpful and made it seem as if I was this huge burden to her. Unfortunately, although I use dto be a frequent visitor-- I will not be going again. Cons: Waitstaff inattentive, Not so fresh seafood more

Boats! 7/8/2003

Either you like sushi boats or you don't. I do. I love seeing what is coming around the corner, just like I love seeing what other people are eating. The downside to boats is freshness and variety. If you come in mid-afternoon the selection (and freshness) will suffer. So come at lunch or dinner. The rolls are tasty and reasonably priced. There is pineapple for dessert! Pros: Watch the boats, Good Service, Reasonably priced Cons: Can be crowded more
