Do not take your four legged family member here! My fiance called me at work to tell me our puppy was very ill. (vomitting and liquid stool) Sounded like a case of Parvo to me so ...

Could not disagree more with negative posts. Been going here 5 years with no problems whatsoever. Dr. Threadgill and the staff are genuinely friendly and caring, and he is great with animals. Will be going here for years to com unless I move. more

NEVER COME HERE, especially in an emergency. If you want your pet to live or be healthy enough to take it to the vet, pay a little more and take it ANYWHERE ELSE. This place took advantage of the fact i was upset that my pet had just died and that I was a young adult that had never been there before. My hamster had been really sick and the receptionist told me on the phone that they could squeeze me in. In the lobby of the vets office, the receptionist saw that my hamster was dying and kept saying it would just be another minute until we could see the doctor. My baby hamster ended up dying and when the receptionist saw me started getting upset and realized that my hamster was dead, then she rushed and pushed us to go back to see the doctor. The doctor inspected my dead hamster giving me no good diagnosis except that he could have had a tumor. After I walk out crying, the place charged me $30 for the exam of a hamster that was dead already. I told her I wasn't paying for a two minute exam on my dead hamster but she asked the vet for confirmation and told me that it was my choice to go back to the exam room and that it still counted as a charge. This was after she pushed us to go back the exam room knowing that my hamster had already died. It was clear that not only did the vet not seem very knowledgeable about the diagnosing the symptoms my pet had or what was wrong with his body, but this animal hospital only cared about getting money and taking advantage of people.\r I have never seen a less sensitive business than this place who made me pay 30 dollars for no help to my already dead hamster when I was grieving. If you have money to burn on crappy examinations and unethical people, come here. If not, pay the extra 20 bucks and go somewhere that can help your pet for your money's worth. more

I disagree with the negative post. I have used this vet over 12 years and they have always put my pets first. Dr. Threadgil has always taken calls at home and given me information on how to help my pets. They have saved one pet from being poisoned and also another from illness. Regardless this is the vet I will continue to use for my pets. Every time I am in the office it is clean. The only thing I can agree with is the parking. more

HORRIBLE. Do not take your pet here. They misdiagnosed my pet saying his swollen black/red eye with a very visible scratch was from pollen and allergies. I even told the vet I doubted it bc he was in a small fight with a tiny dog the day before. He charged me $80 and days later his eye is still red/black with the scratch and puss. I called them complaining they said they would take care of it yet when I brought him back instead of refunding me for paying for allergy shots they tried charging me for the same antibiotics in pill form! I left and told them I wouldn't be back. The very nice receptionist whispered ""I completely understand, happens here all the time darling."" These doctors do not know what they are talking Bout and prescribe the same generic medicine for EVERYTHING. more

Do not take your four legged family member here! My fiance called me at work to tell me our puppy was very ill. (vomitting and liquid stool) Sounded like a case of Parvo to me so he called the vet to see what they could do. They replied "you can bring "it" but we need the payment today". My puppy had an appt to get his ears cropped that week also so we had a $50 deposit on the account. I asked if we could use that towards his emergency visit and was told" no". They also made sure to add that we would lose our deposit if we cancelled the ear cropping. How can we put our sick puppy through surgery that same week? I was so upset and disgusted with this service I was to tears. Basically they told me we don't care if your puppy dies we need the payment. I can't believe they would treat a loyal customer like this. My fiance has dealt with this place for 6 yrs but my first visit there I didn't like it. We took our puppy there to get his 9 weeks shots; once we got there the receptionist said more

Run Away! 9/25/2011

Do NOT take your pet to Bryant Dr. Sure, they may be cheaper than everywhere else, but there's a reason for it. They have no idea what they are doing. They gave my new puppy more shots than was necessary and tried to get me to come back for even more- not only did that weaken my puppy's immune system for a few days, but it cost me more money than if I had just gone to one of the more expensive vets. They gave my puppy, a 5 pound shih-tzu, THREE bordetella shots within one month and wanted me to come back a week after the third one for a fourth one; another vet I consulted with said that dogs only need 2 bordetella shots a year and they're given once every six months. They also gave my dog 2 rabies shots within a month- and almost charged me for a third one without giving it to my dog. This vet was the only place my puppy had gone so they had her whole shot record right in front of them, but they either didn't bother to read it or didn't know how to read it. They also charged me an extr more
