This doctor is wonderful! 2/22/2011

Good: This doctor caught my husband's cancer himself. He is great. Regular doctors don't do that. He's great. We drive 5 hours to see him now, because his physicals are so thorough. A physical does take an entire day. But my health it!!!. Bad: A physical does take an entire day. Inefficient.. Improvements: Time efficiency.. Other: He's a great doc!!!!! I really have no complaints.. more

and FURTHERMORE ABOUT Belmont Medical Group 8/2/2007

Would any of you WANT a doctor that said to you - your time is up regardless of your many problems - I have people waiting and you need to go now? Come on...Dr. Pogue spends as much time with each patient as he NEEDS to...you want to be treated well... don't expect him to short others just because you are waiting...ALL doctors are overbooked...how do you think they work people in????? Get Real!!!!! Everyone's circumstances vary, hence the possible wait for a good doctor. more

I LOVE Belmont Medical Group 8/2/2007

As a person who actually works in a REAL office, just the attorney and I, I can actually say that I know what it is like, and I empathize with ANY business that deals directly with the public that expects perfection in others, but is unable to realize it in themselves. Dr. Pogue and staff are just that - human. And some of the best people I've ever been around - always the same - always concerned and caring. When my mom died, I was sent to Dr. Pogue by the agency that handled the home care she received - he directed their agency (or something to that effect). My world had crashed. I find it hard to believe that any other doctor would have cared as much. When an office deals with SO many people in one day, they CAN NOT please all of the people all of the time. They are REAL people. They do not act like they are "above" anyone...they, especially Dr. Pogue, is gifted - you are in good hands. Remember (in response to the former review), sometimes a first impression is not the right impression. more

STAY AWAY 8/17/2005

Dr. Pogue opened this branch of Belmont Medical Group probably about two years ago and since it opened I've gone there (until recently). Never have I gone and actually been seen at my scheduled appointment time, the office staff has never, I repeat never, correctly billed our insurance, the nurses are a little rough around the edges and the whole process is rather unnerving. I expressed some of my concerns to Dr. Pogue on my last visit to him and he retorted that the last time he went to the Dr. he had to wait four hours and that that's just the way it was. He then told me that his staff would schedule an appointment with a specialist for me for something I needed looked at, that was over three months ago and I'm still waiting for that appointment. I wil never return to this office, and have already found a new Dr, who through the scheduling process alone I can tell runs a much tighter ship and would never blow off a client the way I feel like Belmont Medical Group, and Dr. Pogue in particular, did to me. more
