Bring on the beach! 8/13/2008

This resort situated on the lagoon between the Yacht Club and the Boardwalk Hotel feels like being transported back to a summer on Cape Cod. The pastel tones of the hotel and its guest rooms give the whole resort a cheerful feel. Plus, there is a variety of dining options, from upscale restaurants and to an ice cream parlor. The highlight of the Beach Club, however, has be the pool its shipwrecked boat waterslide. The hotel is a five minute walk from the World Showcase entrance of EPCOT, but boat and bus transportation is available to all other Disney parks. more

Conveniently Located 8/5/2007

This resort was in a location that worked for us when we stayed there 2 years ago. We are thinking of returning to this same resort; however, the other Disney resorts are just as nice too; all depends on what you want to be closer to. The Beach Club has the Boardwalk and at night, one can experience a nice walk along this stretch and watch the street performers or play a few arcade style games. Although the Boardwalk is short, it is close to the hotel, so if you tire yourself out, just skip over to the hotel and go take a rest. The Beach Club is also near the Epcot Center and MGM Studios. The only downside was the fact that we had quite a hike from the front desk lobby to our room. Also, it's quite a trudge over to their pool area; but you will be rewarded with all the cute shops and restaurants that surround this resort. Pros: Service, Appearance Cons: Rooms are far from lobby area and pool more

Really cute resort 11/22/2006

We really liked this resort the first time we stayed here. We loved it the second time. We wanted to experience another hotel that was closer to Pleasure Island so we had planned on a few nights here (Beach Club) & a few nights there (luxury hotel). When we checked in, we promptly left because the room was horrible. It was getting late and we called The Beach Club. They had us checked back in faster than we could drive over. The person who checked us in could not have been nicer. The staff at the Beach Club made what could have ruined our vacation into a good experience and a funny story. Pros: staff, proximity to Epcot center & Disney World, Kid friendly Cons: Possible long walk to room from front desk and main areas more
