Bala Yoga is located in Kirkland, WA inside of Juanita Village. At Bala, we are dedicated to the art and tradition of Vinyasa flow yoga with experienced teachers trained by Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rae and many other inspiring teachers, all styles, link breath with dynamic, flowing movement.

Bala is the Sanskrit word for "power" or "strength" - power not only in the physical sense but also in all aspects of your life. To empower thus enrich yourself in mind, body and spirit. Bala is also translated into child-discovering the childlike qualities of exploration, lightness and fun within your practice without judgments or expectations.. Our Power Vinyasa classes are a combination of deep breathing,heat and specifically sequenced sets of flowing yoga postures developed by Baron Baptiste. Gliding through each pose with every breath,this style of yoga has the ability to build strength,increase endurance,release tension,and create more flexibility in the entire body.
Power Vinyasa Intro Series:
This 8-class series teaches you the fundamentals of power vinyasa yoga and how to build a safe and fun yoga practice. This class is recommended for all those new to yoga and/or new to the Baptiste experience.
Power Vinyasa All Levels:
Our open form power vinyasa class focuses on utilizing breath,while helping you harness your strength,giving you the essential tools to meet the most challenging aspects of any practice with confidence.
Power Vinyasa 1:
Build a strong foundation for your yoga practice as a new or seasoned student. Using movement,breath,and short meditation to foster flexibility,relaxation,and self-awareness,classes are taught with emphasis on core alignment and poses.
Power Vinyasa 2-3:
Bring your flow to powerful new levels in PVII and PV III. This high-energy practice offers a dynamic mix of sweat and spirit,taking you on a climactic journey through strength and surrender. It's time to discover your best self.
