Great food 9/8/2005

I have been to Aurora a couple of times for large business meetings. the staff there does a great job of coordinating events and the food is excellent. I especially love the desserts I've had there, from chocolate cake to cheesecake to fruit tarts. They also have very nice salads. Pasta and main dishes are really excellent. I'd definitely eat there again. I've been very impressed with our business meetings there, so if you're planning an event, consider Aurora. It's a nice space with good catering. more

Amazing Italian restaurant in Chapel Hill 8/12/2005

Aurora is probably our favorite restaurant in Chapel Hill. The location is a little out of the way on 54, but the food and atmosphere makes up for that. It is minimalist yet chic, and definitely romantic. It feels like you are in one of the best restaurants of New York City. The food is incredible, including the desserts. more

I went here for a banquet. The banquet room was standard, no decorations and the temperature went from freezing to sweltering hot. The food was okay. The drink glasses were kept full, so I would say the service was good. THe bar was nice as well. more

OK food 7/31/2005

The food is okay. I wouldn't say it's great, but it's alright. The bar area is nice, and the drinks were as well. The atmosphere is nothing great. They have banquet rooms for larger parties which is nice. more
