I went to the Agenda on a Saturday night and sat on the patio to listen to the live jazz while having dinner. Except for the bread basket (which is good and filled with a variety of breads, including crispy crackers, focaccia, and sourdough), the food was very disappointing. At our table, we ordered 3 pastas and all were bland and overcooked (not al dente). The tuna tartare appetizer was good in portion, but the fish was not fresh and it was way too spicy. Desserts were unimaginative (mud pie, banana cream pie) and average tasting as well.
The upsides are the atmosphere (the patio jazz) and prices. Except for a steak priced at $25, all entrees were $10-17, most hovering around $12. However, some of the appetizers were just as expensive (around the $9-12 range).
