Adela's Hair Color Salon

DON'T DO IT!! With so many great salons to choose from, choose anyone other than Adelas if you're looking for friendly service with people who care! AND if you purchased a Groupon, be prepared to be treated RUDELY!\r I purchased a Groupon in July 2011 for a pedicure, the service was not bad but not great. So recently, Jan 2014, I noticed Adelas was offering another Groupon for a mani/pedi & had hired a new girl - since I've been looking for a ""go to girl"" for my mani-pedi, I thought I'd give her a try. When trying to make an appt, it took several calls, I left voice mails asking for a call back to schedule an appointment - never received a call back. on my 4th call, I finally reached a real person & was able to make an appt. (He was however, a very unfriendly man, who said his name was Roy & told me he was the owner of the salon.)\r The morning before my appt, after waking up with the flu, I called to reschedule & ""Roy"" informed me they would not honor my groupon for the full amount because they require a 24 hour cancellation notice. So, I'm calling the DAY BEFORE at 10am - my appt time was 8am the next morning... only 22 HOURS notice -REALLY??!! I told him I would just plan to call Groupon & have my money refunded if Adelas was not going to honor the Groupon. ( I can understand if I had called the day of or even the evening before my appt but this was ridiculous!) ""Roy's"" response was, ""Perfect! That will be great!"" He told me because I had purchased a Groupon in 2011, I wasn't even a real customer & then hung up on me.\r I did complain to Groupon & they were very nice as always & promptly refunded my money. The only thing that might have given me a little more satisfaction is keeping my appointment so I could go in & cough all over ""Roy"" hopefully spreading ""the flu crud"" to this delightful little man! \r I don't know if Roy is actually the owner, ( I thought Adela was) a co-owner or maybe Adela's husband but whoever he is, he is doing Adela's business a HUGE disservice! Adela, if you're going to keep him on your payroll, you might think about moving ""Mr. People Person"" to the stockroom as to not continue to drive away your clientele.\r And hey, if you don't like people who buy the Groupons, maybe your business shouldn't be offering them! more

Absolutely loved this salon:))!! It was a very clean salon and friendly atmosphere. Ali did my daughter's partial highlight and a layered cut. It looked awesome and the color looked rich! Next I went to receive a pedicure, and it amazing and mine lasted for about 1.5 months. Then Adela did my partial balayage and I fell in love. She is amazing!!! Lastly, I did my bikini with Marlene and she is very quick and neat! Great salon! Highly recommend going! more

I fell in love with my first visit! I went to Adela’s to get a partial updo, makeup, mani and pedi for my wedding. I could not have walked out of there more beautiful. The aesthetician was genius with my makeup. Adela had an amazing amount of talent and was able to handle my hair with ease. My hair has always been difficult but she handled it like there was no problem at all! I went in with plain finger and toe nails, but came out with works of art. I cannot praise them enough! The look they helped me achieve brought tears to my new husband’s eyes. Three of my bridesmaids also had their hair done at Adela’s. They were all so beautiful that I wanted to cry for joy. We had our hair done by a total of three people and everyone walked out happy and gorgeous. The salon was neat and clean, with a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff was professional and personable. Everyone was friendly and focused on customer service. All in all, for one of the most nervous and stressful days of my life, Adela’s helped keep me calm and collected. They made things so much easier for me. Every person who walked in looked nice, but walking out they were gorgeous! more

I have been coming to Adela's since they first opened. I followed the aesthetician there from another salon. I now use all their services (facials, waxing, nails, hair cut/color, massage). I love this place and would not go anywhere else. I was initially afraid to use additional services there simply because - what if I didn't like it - I will always want to keep this aesthetician and would feel uncomfortable walking in and seeing the other staff if I didn't like them. I finally decided to give it a try - and I am so glad I did. This is my one and only salon for everything!!!!!! more

I bought a GROUP-ON, I thought I would get okay results....but I was hugely wrong! The A-Team was wonderful; caring for the clients and the clients needs! My hairstylist, Kayla Ramage, was truly dedicated to my opinions and concerns! She knew exactly what I wanted, and gave me the best blow out! I had a little money left over and wanted a brow wax. My brows were bushy....and Nicole gave me the best brow wax...shaped and thinned perfectly! An AMAZING EXPERIENCE! more

I've moved from salon to salon, but since I've moved to Adela's Color Salon and Spa I've been attached. The first step I took in....I was amazed by the MoroccanOil, Loreal Professional, Mirabella, and Image! This salon has the best atmosphere...filled with the best dynamic A-Team! I wanted my hair to be black, and Adela suggested a very dark brown with a cast of red....My oh my, my hair was amazing, The richness and shine...it was the best coloring job I've ever received! Yelena, gave me the best, best pedicure, splendid results. Definitely a run, dont' walk! more

When I first moved to Brentwood, TN, someone recommend me due to the fact I have LOTS AND LOTS of hair. Adela did not due only a phenomenal job, but had the strength to perform the best blow out ever! For the last 10 years, I get my hair styled once a week by her....it's not surprised that she grew her salon....I get my shellac mani and pedi, massages, and facials! FYI Nicole is the best eye brow waxer!! Adela is a one stop shop now! more

I got a mani/pedi today by Bolor and it was the best nail experience I have ever had. She was not rushed at all and took her time to make it look perfect. She was so nice and personal. I will definitely be going back! more

I was in search of a new place to get my hair cut and highlighted as I had been driving a VERY long way before. My husband also needed a trim and so I did a little research and ran across Adela's on CitySearch. When I got to the salon I was early, but Aly managed to get me in before my scheduled time and she did a GREAT job on my hair! She spent nearly 4 hours getting it back to ""normal"" from where I had gotten bad highlights before and trimmed my hubby's hair while I was processing even though we were the last clients of the night. She also gave me a hair cut that makes my very fine hair look fuller and fall perfectly! I will definitely be back to see Aly and get my hair done by her perfectionist self again! I had a full highlight, cut, style and my husband's haircut and it was super reasonable! It actually cost less than I had paid for just a basic color and hackjob for just MY hair at another ""top"" salon. Love it! more

Recently moved to Nashville ,my old hairdresser told me to google a Salon that used Loreal Proffesional so I did , and was captivated by Adela's website, took time and read each and everyone of her articles, which I guess she had written for the Williamson AM. So I took advantage of a Sharing Spree Deal and made a day out of it Meghan gave me relaxing massage, Nicole work wonders with my facial- she took time to evaluate my skin and also suggested the skin care line(and she even said to try the trial kit ), I even got a bikini wax...my hair needless to say was spectacular. This is one of the most honest & informative reviews you will read. I had never heard of Adela's until I saw a discount promotion on the Internet. I will not go to someone just because of a discount/coupon so I went on line to check out the reviews. All of the reviews seemed to rave about Adela's work so with coupon in hand I scheduled an appointment for a haircut, color and style with Adela herself. I explained to her that I had a lot of gray/white hair & I needed some volume to help cover it up and that I wanted to keep my length. I asked Adela for her opinion about the color too. Adela listened & then went to work and I am absolutely amazed by the results. I got exactly what I wanted and so much more. Volume, vibrant color and a great cut. I am beyond pleased & so is my husband. Let me tell you a little bit more about my visit: The salon is open on Mondays and early on Saturdays. Adela was on time & there was no waiting. The salon is a family affair and Adela's young daughter worked the front desk like it was nobody's business. What a pro! Adela herself washed my hair & gave me 100% of her attention. It was the first time I left a salon where they actually blew dry & styled it the way I like it. Adela is great at what she does and she is FAST! Adela knows a lot of people and is very familiar with the area and she can direct you to great restaurants, doctors, etc. She is a wealth of information and I enjoyed talking to her. As Arnold Schwarzenegger would say, ""I'll be back""! Thanks Adela for making me look so beautiful. You made my day! more

This was my first and last visit to Adela's. I requested a medium brown color with glosser and left with black, dull partially wet hair. I was charged $75 for a single process color and Adela didn't even blow my hair dry and style it. Ridiculous! more

Nicole gives a great eyebrow wax, she is kind and thorough and makes me feel like I'm in a spa. The front staff has always been welcoming and friendly, too. more

I have been going to Nicole the Aesthetician at Adela's for about 6 years now. I started with her at another salon and when she moved I had to move with her need I say more. That speaks volumes in my opinion b/c as women it's hard to find someone you feel comfortable with that knows how to wax, offer skincare advice, and more. Nicole is very sweet makes you feel relaxed and comfortable and she offers greats products and advice as well. She is great at getting your brow PERFECT just the way you want it to look. Waxing doesn't hurt b/c she is very gentle and you feel right at home with the ambience and music playing.\r \r I also noticed that they do have a nail shop there that I want to try and whenever I see someone getting their hair done it turns out FABULOUS! \r \r Be sure to check out Adela's and don't sleep on Nicole she is the BEST! :) more

Adela's has the best aesthetician in town, Nicole.\r Prior to working at Adela's, she was at another salon.\r When she moved to Adela's, I followed! So I have been seeing Nicole for about 6 years now.\r She gives wonderful facials and very thorough waxes.\r I really,really like her skincare line at Adela's too!\r I would highly recommend Nicole, she is professional, knows her stuff, and does beautiful make up as well! more

I haven't taken the time to have a professional cut and/or color in over three years so I was excited about the appointment. It was the most relaxing two hours I've had in a long time. Adela and her team work well together which made the entire process flow without a hiccup. I usually run home and ""redo"" the salon look but this time I actually enjoyed the look for the evening. The biggest mistake I made was washing my hair the next morning and undoing Adela's work! I will definitely go back! more
