If you just need a cut or scrape looked at fine, but if it's more serious do not go to The Vancouver Clinic. If the doctors can't look it up in a book, it doesn't exist. They will let you walk out in pain without ever diagnosing the problem and never call you again.\r \r The billing department doesn't care if they bill under the wrong codes and end up having your claims denied by your insurance company. For example, I went in for tests on something I had never been seen for before. The insurance company told me the tests were determined to be for a pre-existing condition. I called the VC and they told me I'd have to take it up with the insurance company it wasn't their problem. I had this happen with another provider and they found the correct code, re-billed and got paid. Not the VC, they told me I had to pay it and they weren't going to work with me or the insurance company. I started making payments, had trouble with them, told the billing department and they turned it over to a collection agency after I had already paid half of the bill.\r \r Do not get suckered by the size of the clinic, it's kind of like a fast food restaurant you get what they'll serve you and don't expect any customer service. They are just trying to get as many people through as possible, charge as much as possible, and provide as little service as possible.
