My husband always finds something he loves each time he goes and says they are the best place for knife sharpening. Thomas is awesome - really nice and helpful and knows his stuff! He is always great.
All of Thomas's employees know their stuff when it comes to knives, but not all have facility with customer service and rapport building. One person in particular is consistently rude and grumpy. Makes rude, short remarks and always seems like he hates dealing with people. Good news is, he treats everyone like that, and it doesn't bother my husband because he just chalks it up to the guy being miserable about his own life. So, if you go and get treated poorly by one of the employees, don't take it personally. He treats everyone the same! I wish for him to find some joy some day.
Other than that, it's an awesome place and highly recommended! We'll never stop going, even in spite of the occasional interactions with the grumpy one.
Pros: Great selection, know what they're doing, best sharpening
Cons: Not always pleasant to deal with some of the staff
