What I noticed about Catena's when I first entered the shop back in 2000 is that everyone greeted you and made you feel welcome, not just the person who was going to work on your hair. I felt nurtured and cared for in a special way. Everyone--the person who sends you reminders of your appointment, each of the other stylists, the owner herself (Mary Ann Catena, who gives me my style or haircut), and the one who shampoos my hair--all give me the same warm welcome when I walk in. There is an atmosphere of acceptance, concern with your well-being, and desire to give you their very best. I always leave feeling valued, loved, and transformed!
