Weeks after my wife had given birth (and having an epidural) with our first child, she was still experiencing upper & lower back pain. The wife went to her doctor who recommended she seek out a chiropractor.
On the recommendation of a friend, she said we should give Dr William Cudmore a try. Apparently, he has a well-priced introductory promo for 1st time customers only. For $15, you get a 30-min massage and an adjustment.
Since my wife was a new patient, she was told to arrive 1/2 hr early so she could be interviewed by Dr Cudmore who asked her questions about her conditions and also touched her in places on the back. He said that she was still very tender on the lower back so he said that he couldn't give her an adjustment since it could worsen her condition.
So he sent her off for her 1/2 hr massage w/ Emily (they also have Donna & Veronica to give massages). My wife tells me that Emily has a good touch but was also very aware of the time. She also said that Emily avoided touching her lower back and just focused on the upper back, neck, & shoulders only.
They asked my wife how she felt and she said that she could've used an additional hour. She told me in private that she got her 0.5 hrs worth but it was a teaser. Unfortunately, we were out on the adjustment. The doctor recommended my wife drink more water and try some exercises. I wonder if other chiropractors would also not adjust my wife yet?
Anyways, he tried to schedule us for next week's appn't but I told him we would wait until I could check our calendar.
His regular prices are as follows:
adjustment only $35
1/2 hr massage + adjustment $45
1 hr massage + adjustment $70
His regular secretary I guess called in sick that day so he was also working the front desk and he didn't complain at all about our sometimes crying baby, but I could tell it was worrying him and his customers.
Hard to say if we'll come back in the future since it is so far away from us. We went only b/c of the intro promo. The doctor seems to know what he is doing but the verdict remains open.
